A Quantitative Study On The Effect Of Urbanization On Urban Temperature

Since the 20 th century,with the speeding up of urbanization,both the external environment and the internal development structure of urban has changed greatly worldwide.However,as a special type of artificial ecosystem,it has already had a significant impact on the natural factors in the urban area.Therefore,it's important and urgent to carry out the research on urban environment,which has important theoretical and practical significance.Choosing Taiyuan as the research object,this paper,which is based on the urban temperature data and urban development statistics from 1951 to 2015 in Taiyuan city,analyzed the characteristics of temperature change in the time scale of Taiyuan applying the method of mathematical regression analysis.Moreover,this paper quantitatively analyzes the influence of urbanization on urban air temperature through spatial perspective(UMR suburban comparison)and time scale.Meanwhile,this paper analyzes the relationship between established urbanization development index and urban temperature using the method of principal components analysis.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows.1)From 1951 to 2015,urban temperature showed a growing trend.During the whole research phase,the range of temperature increasing of annual average temperature,annual extreme high-temperature and annual extreme low-temperature were 0.40? / 10 a,0.26 ? / 10 a,and 0.89 ? / 10 a.From the perspective of the characteristics of inter-decadal change,urban temperatures have been rising rapidly since the 1990 s.2)The influence of urbanization on urban temperature can be calculated from spatial scale and time scale.According to the comparison method between urban and suburban,urban temperature has gradually influenced by urbanization since 1990 s,among which the influence of urbanization on extreme low-temperature was very obvious,while the influence of urbanization on extreme high-temperature was weaker.However,according to the time scale,the influence of urbanization on extreme high-temperature was the most obvious after 1995.3)Among the factors of urban development,urban population,urban green space and urban industrial development have great influence on the development of urbanization.According to the relational schema between established urbanization development index and urban temperature,the temperature of urban has increased in different degrees with the development of urbanization.However,the relationship between the development of urbanization and temperature is not a simple liner relationship but a curve linear relationship.
