Soil microorganisms are important indicators for evaluating ecosystem health in arid regions. This paper takes Balagasi Lakeside zone in Erenhot and its adjoining area as the main research area.In the basis of the plant communities distribution pattern, this dissertation explores the community structure and diversity of soil microbial communities and their relationships with vegetation and soil factors in different plant communities, using various survey methods including through field sampling technique, indoor soil physical and chemical properties analysis experiments, and high-throughput sequencing technologies. The conclusions are as follows:1)The soil characteristics of Balagasi Lake are characterized by salinization, low water content, and poor soil nutrients.2)Top 10 species of soil microbial relative abundance around roots of different plant communities at the level of the phylum in Lake Balagasi are:Proteobacteria,Firmicutes,Euryarchaeota,Bacteroidetes,Actinobacteria,Acidobacteria,Gemmatimonadetes,Chloroflexi,Thaumarchaeota, and Planctomycetes.Proteobacteria is the predominant group,Gammaproteobacteria is the advantageous subgroups.3)The diversity of soil microbial communities around the roots of different plant communities was different, showing an upward trend firstly and then downward along the lakeside to the land.4)There are differences in the community structure of soil bacteria around the roots of different plant communities, among which,Proteobacteria had the highest distribution of sediments in the lakebed, accounting for about 50%of the total sediments.Firmicutes was mainly distributed in vegetation communities on the land.Euryarchaeota has a larger proportion in the lakeside, but there is almost no distribution after landing on the land.Actinobacteria was mainly distributed in the community of Achnatherum splendens(Trin.).5)TP,AP and Na~+were the main influencing factors affecting the differences of soil microbial community structure. The research results of this dissertation provide important theoretical basis for the conservation and health evaluation of wetland ecosystems in arid areas. And,importantly,it has certain practical significance for improving the wetland soil environment and developing special microbial resources in arid areas.
