As a new type of device,the memory resistor has the different dynamical characteristics of the general chaotic system because of the unique memory.In addition to the sensitivity to circuit parameters,the memory resistance chaotic system depends on the initial value of the memristor.If we can make components that are cheap and practical like resistors in the future,the memristors can be used instead of nonlinear circuits.At present,most of the research reports on memristive chaotic circuits are transformed from Chua’s chaotic circuits,therefore,it is a very meaningful job to find out other construction methods.In this paper,a plurality of memory-resistance chaotic circuits are designed by the coupling of different kinds of RC oscillation circuits and the memory resistor by using the smooth cubic model and piece-wise model,which the circuit structure is simple,doesn’t contain inductance and can generate chaotic signals with different dynamic behaviors.The analysis and design of memristive chaotic circuits have been done as follows:1.The commonly used smooth cubic model and piece-wise model are analyzed and studied in this paper.The equivalent circuit of memristive characteristics is realized by circuit simulation.Memristor volt-ampere characteristic curve is obtained through a simulation circuit,which verifies that the designed circuit has memristive element characteristics.2.Different memristor chaotic systems are constructed by coupling different memristor circuits with memristor models.Separate coupling of different types of memristors using the RC Wien bridge oscillator,RC single T oscillator and RC twin-T oscillator,alternatively,a variety of different kinds of memory-resistance chaotic circuits are designed by using different coupling methods with the memory resistor.For example,the RC Wien bridge circuit is coupled with the piece-wise linear model and the cubic nonlinear model respectively;Single T network and the twin-T network are respectively coupled with a cubic nonlinear model.The dynamic characteristics of the memory-resistance chaotic circuit are analyzed,and the complex dynamical behavior of the system is studied.In order to verify the correctness of the circuits,the circuit simulation experiments are carried out,the results of the simulation are in agreement with the results of the numerical calculation.3.Compared with traditional chaotic circuits,these features of noise-like,initial sensitivity,decipherability,and large key space are unique to memristive chaotic circuits.In this paper,the memristive chaotic system we designed is applied to image encryption.Simultaneously,an experimental simulation and a safety analysis are conducted.It is proved that the system can be well applied to image encryption.The new ideas and methods for the design of memristive chaotic circuits have been provided in this paper.
