Dagelegouxi gold property is located in an important"gold belt"of Qinghai Province,namely the middle section of Bokalike–Xiangride Au-Pb-Zn-Mo-graphite-fluorite?Cu,rare elememts and rare earth elements?metallogenetic belt which belonging to the East Kunlun?orogenic belt?Fe-Pb-Zn-Cu-Co-Au-W-Sn-asbestos metallogenetic belt?III26?.Xiaogangou,Wulonggou,Kaihuangbei,Balong,Tuoketuo and other large-scale to medium-scale deposits,as well as plenty of gold?mineralized?occurrences are successively discovered around the property,additionally two gold occurrences in the property,which indicates that this area possesses favorable prospect for prospecting gold deposit and huge prospecting potential.Traditional 1:10 000 areal projects are difficult to conduct due to intensive topography cutting,large relative elevation difference and large depth of valley,causing the exploration work input scarcely,and the prospecting effect not obvious,therefore,this area almost becomes a chicken-rib exploration area.The project carries out geochemical general exploration work of 1:25 000 stream sediment surveys instead of traditional 1:10 000 areal projects to break the prospecting bottleneck of this area,which effectively narrows down the prospecting scope.Through further anomaly investigation,seven Au mineralized alternation belts are discovered recently,which effectively solves the prospecting problem of this area.From the above mentioned works,the main conclusion can be drawn as follows:1.The statistic results of ten kinds of elements indicate that Au,Ag and Pb have higher abundance and concentrate obviously,particularly the Au element,characterized by highest abundance,large variation coefficient and most easily concentrating and forming the mineralization,while Cu,As,Sb,Bi and W are relatively depleted.Generally,Au,Ag,As,Sb and Pb anomalies,extending along the Wolonggou in NW direction,are characterized by large scale,obvious concentration zoning and fine registration.2.Five comprehensive anomalies of 1:25 000 stream sediment are delineated,including two B1-class anomalies,one B2-class anomalies and two C-class anomalies.Seven fractured alternation zones are newly discovered in the two B1-class anomalies during anomaly verification,and gold mineralization of different degree occurs in these zones,with the general grade of gold ranging from 0.14×10-6–2.91×10-6 and the maximum of 15.6×10-6.3.NW–NWW trending structures,extremely advantageous to mineralization,are the important ore-controlling structure in the area,which can be regarded as the prospecting criteria.Comprehensive anomalies with high intensity,complex element association and fine registration have favorable indication for prospecting,and can serve as the indirect prospecting criteria.The places in the fractured alteration zones where quartz fine veins and gray silicified bands intensively developed are the indicative criteria of gold mineralization.The surficial outcrops with relatively striking yellow,maroon and off-white color,as well as banded distribution,are the most intuitive prospecting criteria in the area.4.By comparing typical deposits and analyzing the metallogenic conditions of the area,this paper believes that this area possesses large prospecting potential,and the prospecting direction aims for the fractured alternation rock type deposit and minerals of Au,Ag and Pb.HS1 and HS2 anomalies are the main prospecting area for Au mineralization,while the HS4anomaly,namely the contact zone between the Late Triassic Epoch biotite tonalite and Baishahe Formation,as well as the fractured alternation zone,has a higher possibility for Ag mineralization.5.This work suggests that carrying out general geochemical exploration based on 1:25000 stream sediment survey in the places where the terrain abruptly dissected and soil barely developed can quickly lock the prospecting target and improve the efficiency.Therefore,the application of this method can provide commendable reference for further prospecting work in the similar area.
