Relying on the project “Xiangshan volcanic basin 3D geological survey” of China Geological Survey,this paper aims to figure out the 3d spatial characteristics among the metamorphic basement,volcanic-sedimentary formation,rhyodacite,crushed lava,and faults.With GOCAD software as platform,it used to construct the3 D geological model in Xiangshan volcanic basin with 19 MT profiles and the combination of the field route data,drilling,prospecting profiles.This paper mainly describes two aspects in detail: the construction of the model,and the application of the model.In terms of constructing the model,it should firstly preprocess the multi-source geosciences data,unify the scale and coordinate system,and establish the raw material database.According to the field route data and MT profiles,constructing the formation surface of each geological body.It can make the surface match to the existing geological data with the constrain by the field route data,drilling and prospecting profiles.Using these interfaces and boundary surfaces to compose the 3D surface model,and filling the surface model and giving the properties,it can construct a solid model and then furnish the surface model and solid model with geographical elements.In terms of the model application,according to the function of3 D visualization,3D spatial calculation and cutting sections in any directions,this paper makes geology analysis for target geologic bodies' morphology.In the 3D space,it summarized the rule of uranium mineralization according to the relationship between the information of the uranium mineralization and geological bodies.The main achievements of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the 19 MT profiles,the field route data,drilling,prospecting profiles etc,it constructs the 3D geological surface model and 3D geological solid model of Xiangshan volcanicbasin;(2)It sums up the different methods and the relevant skills of constructing the model based on geological profiles;(3)According to the 3D model,it describes the 3D morphology of main geological body in the basin in detail,and summarizes the evolution of the basin;(4)According to the relationship between the proven uranium mineralization information and geological body,it consumes that mutations in the composite parts,structural basement interface and the interface between the group of igneous rocks form had been the favorable position of uranium enrichment and precipitation,and delineated a favorable uranium prospecting area in the 3D space.
