Study On Fauna Of Grylloidea In Yunnan

This dissertion deals with taxonomic,faunistic studies and distribution pattern on the Grylloidea from Yunnan.The entire work draws the four parts conclusions as follows.1.The thesis records 4 families 13 subfamilies,54 genera,135 species.The diagnoses of each families,subfamilies and genera are given,as well as the keys to families,subfamilies,genera and species.The citations and informations of the materials examined are provided for each species.New taxa are described in detail.Figures for 20 species and 25 plates are provided.During the study,six new species are/were discovered:six new spcies were discovered,two species were newly recorded in China: Velarifictorus raychaudhurii(Bhowmik,1967)comb.nov.,Euscyrtus(Euscyrtus)quadripunctatus Ingrisch,1987;2.The results are shown as follows: the distribution types in genera of Grylloidea can be classified into 31 types in Yunnan Province,among them,the genera which belong to Oriental+Sino-Japanese and Oriental+Sino-Japanese+Palaeearctic realms respectively account for 14.82% in all the known genera of Grylloidea in Yunnan Province.The distribution types in species of Grylloidea can be classified into 7 types in Yunnan Province.Among them,the species which belong to Oriental realms account for 48.15% in all the species of Grylloidea in Yunnan Province,a total of 65 species were recorded.3.The zoogeographic region of Grylloidea in Yunnan Province is divided into 7 districts: including Banna region,Stream outlet region,Ruili region,Hengduan Mountain region,Boundless mountain region,Jinsha River region,Yuanjiang region.Among them,the largest number of species recorded in Banna region,which recorded 73 species from 35 genera.The genera account for 63.6% and the species take up 54.07 % in all the Grylloidea in Yunnan Province.4.Comparing with the neighboring provinces,the similarity in genera level of Grylloidea is the nearest between Yunnan Province and Guangxi Province,and in species level of Grylloidea,Yunnan and Guangxi Provinces is the nearest,the similarity coefficient is 35.29%.
