Electromagnetic field scattering analysis is widely used in radar target detection,so the study of electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the target has an important practical significance.Compared with the test platform,which needs strict conditions,the numerical simulation has the characteristics of quickness,efficiency,controllability,wide range of application and economic benefits in solving the electromagnetic field problem.It is very important to estimate the electromagnetic response of the equipment at the initial stage.In this paper,we propose a method to calculate the scattering field of open rectangular cavity based on integral equation of electromagnetic field.This method is based on the equivalent source principle and the boundary condition.The electromagnetic scattering problem is equivalent to the radiation problem of the equivalent magnetic current on the opening surface.By using the cavity dyadic Green's function to solve the inner field,the computational scale is greatly reduced.The method can be further extended to use the RWG basis functions to expand the equivalent magnetic current and calculate the scattering field of the rectangular cavity with the arbitrary shape of the opening.In this paper,we present a method for computing the scattering field of an arbitrary shape cavity with an opening based on the RWG basis function and the electromagnetic field integral equations.The electromagnetic scattering problem of the arbitrary shape cavity is equivalent to the radiation problem of the equivalent sources.The semi-space dyadic Green's function and four theorems are used to construct the electromagnetic integral equations of the arbitrary shape cavity with an opening.The integral equations are solved by the method of moments based on the RWG basis functions.The accuracy of the method is verified by the numerical example of the RCS of an open cylindrical cavity.The RCS of the open hemisphere cavity and the triangular pyramid are also given.s...
