The Ultraviolet laser is widely used in laser security communication,spark ignition,material processing and laser treatment because of its short wavelength,easy focusing,high resolution and large photon energy.Although some practical devices have been developed for LD pumped solid ultraviolet lasers,there are still problems in reality,such as short lifetime of nonlinear transformation crystals,and easy damage of crystal surface layer.In this paper,a high power UV laser with single end pump is designed to solve the damage problem of the layer.The design of single end pumped mode based on Q switched technology.Shorter pulse and higher efficiency of the laser cavity structure is reasonable,using Brewster angle cut crystal,the insertion element less,avoid membrane damage,thereby improving the service life of lasers.The method is easy to operate,high precision and low cost.The laser structure is simple and the power is stable.(1)The Brewster angle principle is analyzed,elaborated the Brewster angle and improving the transmission rate as output the possibility.At the same time,according to the coupled wave equation of three wave interaction,the nonlinear process,efficiency and phase matching process of frequency doubling are analyzed.The size of the spot and the steady distribution of the resonator are simulated.(2)LD end-pumped resonators with different structures are used to perform 1064 nm laser output,and different power and stability output characteristics are obtained.The theory of resonant cavity is verified.(3)The LD end pumped L-resonator is operated,with the LBO crystal for SHG and THG,and acousto-optic Q switched to generate giant pulse.The LBO crystal is cut at Brewster angle of 355 nm laser output,with the UV output of 1.5 W,pulse width of 21 ns and the M2 factor of 1.3.(4)The LD end pumped plane convex resonator is operated,with the LBO crystal for SHG and THG,and acousto-optic Q switched to generate giant pulse.The LBO crystal is cut at Brewster angle of 355 nm laser output,with the UV output of 850 mW.
