Temporal And Spatial Evolution Of Urban Patterns In Three Northeastern Provinces Of China Based On Nighttime Light Data

In the early stage of economic development,along with the rapid development of industrialization,the northeast region with heavy industry as the mainstay continued to grow,the urbanization process gradually accelerated,and became an important industrial zone in China.In addition,the country introduced various guidelines and policies to support the region and urban development.It has been steadily improving,the population industry has gathered in the northeast,and the urban expansion has expanded rapidly.However,in the big environment of economic development,many old industrial cities like the three northeastern provinces have led to the exhaustion of resources due to over-exploitation of resources,and the development of resource-based industries in the early stages of development,technological innovation has hindered,far behind other cities.Many of the original factories went bankrupt,and many of the original investments were largely divested.The industrial structure was difficult to adjust at one time,and some cities showed the opposite trend of the previous expansion.This study is based on the 1992-2016 DMSP-OLS and NPP-VIIRS nighttime lighting data.Due to the lack of data time series availability,the data time series availability is extended by establishing a mutual correction model.The corrected data is extracted by the support vector machine classification method,and the landsat image and geographical concentration index are used to verify the characteristics of the urban spatial pattern change in the four provinces of Hei,Ji and Liao and the urban space.The factors of evolution.In the context of China's current urban development,it should be clearly recognized that the current stage of China's economy can better cope with the various effects brought about by the evolution of urban time and space.This study provides basic data for urban evolution studies of long-space sequences.The main body of this research can be divided into five parts:The first part introduces the temporal and spatial evolution of cities in the three northeastern provinces by using the nighttime lighting data on the background,status,purpose,significance and content of urban development research.The second part selects the research area and the method of processing nighttime light data to focus on.It is innovative and practical to apply the two different resolution nighttime light data to study the evolution of urban time series.On this basis,the research progress and practical methods based on support vector machine theory are analyzed,and the data is analyzed by this method.The third part monitors the spatial and temporal evolution of different cities according to the extracted urban light patches in the three northeastern provinces.On this basis,it analyzes the evolution of different cities in the three northeastern provinces of China,and comprehensively elaborates the themes or theories related to urban evolution.It also analyzes the evolution of different cities and different degrees,and explores the temporal and spatial evolution trends of the three northeastern provinces.The fourth part analyzes the types and causes of urban evolution in the three northeastern China based on nighttime lighting data,and proposes some countermeasures and suggestions for urban evolution.The fifth part clarifies that in the process of economic development,the evolution of urban pattern is different,and the analysis of urban evolution should be specifically analyzed.
