Study On The Evolution Of Urban Patterns In Three Provinces Of Northeast China Based On The Nighttime Light Data

It is of great significance to study the urban development pattern of the three northeastern provinces to grasp the urban development pattern of the three northeastern provinces from the macro level and adjust the economic strategic deployment in time under the background of China's continuous promotion of the revitalization of the old industrial base in the northeast.The three northeastern provinces are the traditional heavy industry bases of our country with perfect industrial infrastructure,abundant scientific research strength and human resource advantages,which made great contributions to the economic development of our country during the planned economy period.The economic growth there is weak after the reform and opening up,so the state has implemented the policy of revitalizing the old industrial base in Northeast China.36 cities(autonomous prefectures and regions)in Northeast China are taken as the research areas in this paper based on the nighttime light data of DMDP / OLS in 1992,1997,2002,2007 and 2012,and the nighttime light data of NPP / VIIRS in 2017.The area of urban built-up areas is extracted,and the expansion characteristics of major cities are analyzed,as well as the light center evolution orbit of Heilongjiang Province,Jilin Province,Liaoning Province and overall the three northeastern provinces.The influencing factors of urban development are determined,and the urban development pattern of the three northeastern provinces is obtained through the analysis of grey correlation degree,which can provide reference for the study of long-term regional evolution.The main conclusions obtained are as follows:(1)From 1992 to 2017,Changchun,Shenyang,Harbin,Dalian,Jilin and Daqing were cities which expanded most among the 36 cities in the three northeastern provinces,with different expansion characteristics.(2)The evolution track of the light center shows that Harbin,Changchun,Shenyang and Dalian play an obvious role in driving the overall urban development pattern of the three northeastern provinces and the corresponding provinces,playing a strong role in pulling the scale of the overall urban system space of the three northeastern provinces,and become the growth pole of the leading regional development.(3)The development gap between non resource cities and resource cities is gradually increasing,and the overall development of resource cities is relatively slow.The internal differences of resource regeneration cities are not obvious;the individual differences of resource mature cities are increasing gradually,the differences between resource declining cities are small.The polarization and regional imbalance of urban development in the three northeastern provinces are becoming more and more prominent.(4)The urban development of the three northeastern provinces is most affected by the population according to the results of grey correlation analysis.The higher the degree of population attraction,the better the degree of urban development,such as Harbin,Changchun,Shenyang,Dalian and other regional central cities.The influencing factors of urban development are determined,and the measures of opening birth restriction and attracting high-quality talents to settle down are put forward according to the driving force analysis.
