With the great improvement of the popularization of higher education in China,the number of students in Colleges has increased dramatically,as a result,universities have generally carried out new construction and expansion projects.In this process,how to provide a living area with good living environment for college students has gradually become a key issue for designers and builders.As one of the many factors,architectural wind environment is naturally concerned by more and more designers and scholars.However,previous studies on the wind environment of buildings often focused on residential areas,high-rise buildings or macroconcepts and there are relatively few studies on the wind environment of university living areas in a certain area based on the climate characteristics.In this paper,the dormitory building in Daqing area is taken as the research object.Firstly,the basic characteristics of Daqing's wind environment are obtained by statistical analysis.At the same time,the basic building types and layout forms of dormitory building in Daqing area are investigated,and the measured data are compared with the simulated values to verify the rationality and feasibility of the selection of simulation software and the simulation process after a living area is selected for wind environment measurement and simulation.The above three points establish the basic conditions for the following simulation analysis.Secondly,based on the characteristics of wind environment in Daqing,the indoor and outdoor wind environment of individual buildings and their different downward directions are simulated,and the simulation results are evaluated according to the evaluation criteria implemented by the state and data indicators such as wind speed amplification coefficient,wind speed dispersion degree and air age.Thirdly,it simulates the outdoor wind environment of group buildings in living areas,and establishes the optimal layout based on the analysis of relevant evaluation criteria.Finally,according to the simulation results,it summarizes and puts forward the building optimization strategies for the wind environment characteristics of Daqing city from the aspects of single buildings and building groups in living areas,and chooses examples for comparative verification and analysis.Based on the visualization and high efficiency of CFD technology,this paper analyses and summarizes the related figures and data obtained from simulation,and puts forward the optimization strategy which is in line with the wind environment characteristics of Daqing area.On one hand,it can not only provide theoretical and practical guidance for the planning and construction of Daqing university living area,but also provide a basis for the planning and design of building monomer or residential area.On the other hand,the established theoretical basis can provide research basis for improving the microclimate in cold areas,and can also provide reference for the construction of infrastructure in our university campuses.
