As a supplementary test of the large simulator of the high altitude electromagnetic pulse(HEMP),the continuous wave(CW)test method,has entered the attention of the people's research.Especially for the measurement of fixed facilities,large test objects and ships,the nondestructive property of continuous wave has a significant advantage compared with the strong electromagnetic pulse simulator test.Through the installation and debugging of continuous wave test system,the test method and data processing are studied in this paper,the process of test process and data are discussed,and according to the actual measurement data,are further studied and discussed the effectiveness of continuous wave system.Firstly,the development process and system composition of large CW illumination test are introduced.And the data processing method in Kolmogoroff were studied,mastered the estimation method of minimum phase.The bounded wave simulator and continuous wave test system structure and a detailed description of the test layout are introduced,referring to the continuous wave test of IEC standard.According to the test data,the processing flow is discussed,using double exponential wave were verified,treatment of data's master Kolmogoroff.The whip antenna is chosen as the test object,and the amplitude spectrum is acquired by continuous wave test.After estimating the phase spectrum,the transfer function is obtained,and is convolution with the HEMP high altitude nuclear magnetic pulse wave,and the impulse response is obtained.The test object is bounded wave electromagnetic pulse simulator test,the test response data of bounded wave and continuous wave to obtain the impulse response data are compared,the uncertainty was identified.It has been verified that the test process and data processing method of continuous wave system is feasible,which provides experimental basis for the system to conduct strong electromagnetic pulse effect test.At the same time,by comparing the bounded wave simulator test and continuous wave test data,the error is less than 6dB,which can meet the requirement of IEC standard.
