Water resource is the natural resources which human survival depend on.The industrialization of human society has intensified the water environmental load.Textile and apparel industry is a typical water-consuming industry and a major industrial wastewater discharge industry in China.Realizing the verifiable,evaluable and reportable water resources environment for the production of textile and apparel products by quantifing and evaluating the environmental impact of water resources caused by water consumption and wastewater discharge from textile and apparel products..It has theoretical and practical significance for water saving and emission reduction and achieving green development goals in the textile and apparel industry.This thesis constructed a model for calculation and assessment of water resources environmental load in the production process segment of silk apparel,calculated the benchmark water footprint and the actual water footprint of silk apparel,based on the water footprint theory,life cycle assessment method,modular theory and multi-objective grey target decision model.The following innovations were made:?1?The parameterization of the silk garment water footprint accounting unit module was established.The key problem of water footprint accounting for silk apparel production was solved;?2?A multi-dimensional comprehensive water assessment method for silk apparel was established,and the key problem of water resources environmental load assessment for silk apparel production was solved.The water resource load of silk apparel production is quantified by the water shortage footprint,the water environmental load is quantified by the water degradation footprint.Based on the modular theory,the process chain of silk garment production is taken as the basic unit,and the unit modules of water consumption and drainage such as silk,dyeing and ironing are constructed,then the input and output in the calculation boundary of the unit module are determined.The multi-objective gray target decision-making model is adopted to solve the key problem that the multi-dimensional quantitative index unit of water footprint is not uniform and cannot compare the water resources and environmental load between processes and products.Based on the constructed water resource environmental accounting and evaluation model for silk apparel,combined with the standard limit data,the benchmark water footprint of silk apparel production is calculated.The results show that the benchmark water shortage footprint for silk apparel products is 1035.18 m3 H2O eq/t,the benchmark water eutrophication footprint is 1537.85 kg PO43-eq/t,and the benchmark water acidification footprint is 3.30×10-3 kg SO2 eq/t.The benchmark water ecotoxicity footprint is 2.66×105 m3 H2O eq/t.Accounting and evaluation demonstration of water resource environmental load produced by two different fabrics and styles of silk dresses,the results show that the water shortage footprint of100-piece silk brocade dresses is 2770.20 m3 H2O eq/t,the water eutrophication footprint is 185.68 kg PO43-eq/t,the water acidification footprint is 3.76×10-5 kg SO2eq/t,and the water ecotoxicity footprint is 5.14×105 m3 H2O eq/t.The water shortage footprint of the 100-piece double crepe silk dress is 2002.06 m3 H2O eq/t,the water eutrophication footprint is 256.62 kg PO43-eq/t,the water acidification footprint is5.39×10-5 kg SO2 eq/t,and the water ecotoxicity footprint is 7.23×105 m3 H2O eq/t.The water footprint of the two types of silk dresses is smaller than the maximum reference water footprint,and greater than the minimum reference water footprint.The water footprint of the silk reeling,dyeing and finishing process of the two types of silk dresses is smaller than the maximum reference water footprint of the silk reeling,dyeing and finishing process,and greater than the minimum reference water footprint of the silk reeling,dyeing and finishing process.The water acidification footprint is a type of water degradation footprint which needs to be considered more for the water resource environmental impact of silk apparel production.The water environment load impact of the silk brocade dress is less than the water environment load of the silk crepe dress.The water environment load impact of the silk reeling process is less than the water environment load impact of the dyeing and finishing process.
