Color light is widely used in scientific research,production,and daily life,such as detecting spatial resolution of color imaging system,light rendering in mall,projection and other occasions.With the requirements of color applications increasing,it?s necessary to control the color of the color light with high precision.The color control system of polychromatic was designed and the research contents include theoretical calculation,scheme design,putting up experimental system and control method research,the specific contents are as follows:Firstly,by the study of the basic principles of chromaticity,the characteristics of color space and color space conversion were analyzed.Linear space CIE1931 XYZ was chosen as the color system.Through theoretical deduction,the mixing units of red,green and blue in the experiment were calculated.Secondly,by the study of chromatic light characteristics,the overall scheme of color closed-loop control,chroma control system and brightness control system were designed.The working principle of each module of the system was studied.The device selection and system construction were completed.Based on the experimental system,the host computer data transceiver based on LabVIEW and the logic timing sequence controlling based on FPGA were realized to achieve the purpose of controlling the chroma and brightness.Thirdly,four experimental studies of color control were completed based on color control system.The relationship between the power of tricolor light sources and tristimulus values was studied in the light source characteristics and chromaticity control experiments.The results show that the source power and stimulus values satisfy the linear relationship.The color mixing proportion of the tricolor light were studied by The white balance experiment,and the experimental results initially determined the color mixing unit,and proved the correctness of the theoretical calculation;The relationship between the changes of the tricolor light and the mixed chromatic spectrum were studied in the continuous spectrum of visible light color mixing experiment,and the corresponding tristimulus values were measured,the experimental data was convenient for further determining the color mixing coefficients of the three color lights.The relationship between the electric slit feed and the change of brightness was studied in the brightness control experiment,the experimental results show that the displacement of the electric slit and the brightness control changed linearly.Fourthly,by comprehensive study of the color control principles and the experimental data,By comprehensive study of the color control principles and the experimental data,a color control method for Polychromatic Light Source that can be used for other wavelengths was summarized.The chromaticity and brightness control errors of the color control system were evaluated to verify the accuracy of the color control system.The research results show that the color control system can achieve high-precision color control of the polychromatic light source.The chromaticity control uncertainty of the chromaticity control system was better than 0.029,and the brightness measurement uncertainty of the brightness control system was better than 0.024cd/m~2.
