There are several issues that cannot be avoided.For example,is scientific knowledge an absolute problem?The relationship between scientific observation and scientific reasoning?Is the grounded theory credible?Why does creativity and imagination affect science?From an objective point of view,the objects involved in any subject are regular,and the law does not exclude the subject absolutely as people think.With the participation of the subject,the realization of the law depends on the person’s choice.The choice of man is not arbitrary and must be a choice among the objective possibilities of things.As a result,science and science literacy are closely related.Scientific literacy influences the understanding of the nature of science.Different people,different industries,and different scientific education backgrounds affect the understanding of science and the choice of scientific and technological decisions.The scientific background population refers to the systematic education of the nature of science.This population may include scientists,philosophers,and high school students.Once they receive systematic education in science and society,they understand and understand the nature of science.People in the liberal arts background are very different.As a result,issues of social education rationality arise.Judging from the relationship between science and society,public participation in science and technology decision-making is an inevitable result of scientific education promotion,which changes the mode of decision-making of experts.Experts’ decision based on universal knowledge may not be suitable for "local knowledge".At this time,public participation is the dominant form or supplementary form of science and technology decision-making,and changes in "who decides science".From a deeper level,different solutions for science and technology decision-making are rooted in the different understanding of the nature of science in science education.Public participation in decision-making is not dominated by pure interests,it must participate in scientific rationality,and find reasons from the scientific basis.Changes in the arguments for scientific grounds depend on the popularization and promotion of education.In spite of this,the controversy is normal and necessary.The purpose of science education is not to eliminate controversy,but to make the controversy closer to the truth and closer to the community of human destiny.The different understanding of the nature of science has many aspects in the decision-making of science and technology.First,different understandings of the nature of science influence the judgment of scientific evidence.The scientific evidence seems to be objective and there are subjective choices when it comes to decision making.Because the rationality of scientific evidence is temporary;the adoption of scientific evidence is subjective;the assessment of scientific risk is arbitrary and subjective;and the personal perception and public perception are asynchronous.There is also a more important influence.The understanding of the nature of science is influenced by the subject’s assumptions on the structure of political economy,theoretical moral hypotheses,and sentimental value assumptions.It is helpful to know that the nature of science has many kinds of understanding and that it is a unity to adhere to the truth and value of Marxism.Adhering to the value of the people’s position is a scientific choice.The nature of science implies this choice.In order to ensure the rationality of science and technology decision-making,popularize science education,raise the level of scientific thinking of the public,and insist on education for the public to face the future for modernization is an effective way to enhance the understanding of the nature of science,and it is also a method to ensure the safety of decision-making. |
