It is more difficult to explore and develop oil and gas reservoirs.Exploration and development mainly turn to complex oil and gas reservoirs in difficult areas. In the Ordos Basin, the tight oil resources are abundant. In the exploration of the tight oil of the Chang 7section,a number of well-developed oil flow wells have been drilled in recent years, which has a good prospect for exploration. However, the drilling rate of sand bodies in exploration is relatively low.Based on the existing data, the three-dimensional geological modeling software is used to carry out the three-dimensional geological model of the study area by using “two-step modeling” to reduce the uncertainty in the geological model. The geological model is checked by means of dilution wells, and real-time logging data collected while drilling are loaded into the geological model while drilling. The geological model while drilling is updated in time so as to establish a three-dimensional geological model which can describe the real geological characteristics to the greatest extent,so that the distribution characteristics of mud and sand can objectively and accurately depict the real underground characteristics.Geological steering based on lithofacies model can improve sand body drilling rate in geological steering. The three-dimensional geological model and correction technology established by this research institute provide a reliable geological basis for the design and optimization of horizontal well trajectory. The three-dimensional geological model adjusts the horizontal well trajectory in real time,so that the sand body drilling rate of horizontal wells is obviously improved.
