Gravity exploration,as a traditional geophysical exploration method,has mature technology and wide application.Its principle is based on Newton's law of universal gravitation.It is a method of geological exploration by utilizing the gravity variation caused by the density difference of various rock and ore bodies that make up the crust.As long as the underground geological body has a certain residual mass,the burial depth is small and the topographic fluctuation has little influence,gravity anomaly can be measured by precision gravity instrument.Then,combining with the geological data of the working area,qualitative or quantitative interpretation of gravity anomalies can be made to infer the burial conditions of ore bodies and strata with different densities below the caprock,and to find out the location and geological structure of rock orebodies.This paper mainly studies the commonly used methods of gravity anomaly processing and interpretation,and applies them to the measured data.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The basic theories of common data processing methods such as derivative processing,total gradient modulus method,tilt angle method and Euler deconvolution are studied,and a model is established to verify the correctness of the method theory,and the applicable conditions of the relevant methods are compared,which provides a reliable basis for the processing and interpretation of measured data.(2)The basic principle of wavelet transform is studied,and through the analysis of model test results,it is found that it has good effect in potential field noise reduction.This method can not only effectively remove the high frequency interference components and highlight the effective information,but also suppress the adverse effects caused by Gibbs effect,which provides a reliable method for potential field data denoising.(3)The common data processing methods such as derivative processing,total gradient modulus method,inclination angle method,Euler deconvolution and wavelet transform method are applied to the processing of measured data,and the related geological interpretation is given.According to the interpretation,the potential metallogenic areas,deposits and fault structures can be inferred.It provides a basis for basic geological survey and mineral survey.(4)The advantages and disadvantages of gravity exploration methods used in field survey are summarized,and suggestions and prospects are given.It provides a reference for the follow-up geophysical work in this area.
