Development And Implementation Of WebGIS Based On Open Source Technology

In this paper,Web principle,WebGIS technology and open source GIS technology were first analyzed,and the development and application of WebGIS and open source GIS were discussed.Then,according to the idea of GIS engineering design and development,the green space information management of Beijing Forestry University WebGIS system was designed and implemented.The idea of the system design was to realize the refinement of campus green space resources management and the maximum benefit of green space information sharing,and the system itself was light and easy to use,the performance was stable,and the safety and reliability were stable.The implementation of the system was based on the pattern of map tiles,and the system was divided into three layers:data layer,logic layer and presentation layer.Specifically,for the data layer,the spatial and non spatial information of the green space resources in the campus were collected by the measurement technology and the forestry survey method,and then the open source database PostgreSQL+PostGIS was used to build the database.For the logic layer,the popular Node.js technology had been used to build the server.The various functional modules of the system were developed based on the Node Express framework and the pg module,the event polling and asynchronous 10 mechanism of Node.js effectively enhanced the system response speed.For the presentation layer,it was developed in a document/view mode,and the open source framework,such as jQuery,Bootstrap,Leaflet and so on were used,and Leaflet was an important open source GIS client development framework that provided a powerful support for the map display and map based interactive functions.At present,the functions such as display,query,statistics and management of green elements of the system have been realized.In the WebGIS platform of this paper,the campus plant resources management and botany knowledge teaching were integrated,and this design concept had some innovation in the forestry resources and garden resource management system.The open source technology and open source framework used in this paper greatly reduced the cost of development,and created a good system performance,this system development model and technical scheme also provided a reference for the development of WebGIS system based on open source technology.
