The measurement of suspended matter content in water bodies plays an important role in the fields of water conservancy,ocean and ecosystem.The measurement of parameters such as concentration and particle size is of great significance for water conservancy construction,environmental protection and soil erosion.Aiming at the problem of particle size distribution and concentration coupling in suspension concentration measurement,this paper uses artificial bee colony algorithm combined with ultrasonic attenuation experiment to invert the water suspension concentration and improve the basic artificial bee colony algorithm.It shows that the improved algorithm has faster convergence speed and higher convergence precision.Main research work of the these is as follow:(1)An ultrasonic water suspension weight parameter measurement system was built,and ultrasonic attenuation experiments at three frequencies were carried out for each of 20 groups of water samples with different particle sizes of 0.125 mm,0.090 mm and 0.065 mm.The calibration system uses the suspended sediment concentration obtained by the conventional high precision drying weighing method as the reference concentration.(2)The signal is preprocessed by wavelet transform and Fourier transform after the ultrasonic attenuation signal is initially obtained.The ultrasonic echo signals are decomposed by 4-layer wavelet transform and the appropriate thresholds are used for denoising.Then the amplitude of the ultrasonic echo signals is obtained by fast Fourier transform,and then the attenuation coefficients of each group of water samples at each frequency are calculated.(3)Based on the ECAH(Epstein Carhart Allegra Hawley)model,combined with ultrasonic attenuation experiments,artificial bee colony algorithm was used to invert the concentration of suspended liquid solution.Through the research on the bee colony algorithm,it is found that the population initialization,leading the bee domain search dimension and the search step size have great randomness and blindness,which will affect the convergence speed and convergence precision of the algorithm.Based on this,the artificial bee colony algorithm is improved,and through the simulation optimization of the test function and the inversion of the concentration of each group of suspended water samples,the results show that the improved artificial bee colony algorithm has faster convergence speed and higher.The convergence accuracy and the stability of the algorithm are also improved,which verifies the validity and practicability of the artificial bee colony algorithm.
