As the cosmological reddening of the quasar is large, the quasar provides important clues for the early-cosmic research, for example, the formation of the galaxy etc.More and more quasars have been detected, which can be used to study the redshift distribution, the space density, the evolution of AGN and so on.The quasar is extremely bright, and it is a good background light source for the object intervening the quasar and the observer. The quasar radiation can be absorbed by the nebula, the galaxy,or the dust, and the characteristics of the absorption spectrum afford us the information about the absorber, like the component, the density and the location. The 2175(?) absorption blimp is a remarkable characteristic of the dust absorption. We found this characteristic in the spectrum of SDSS quasar J0916.60+292106.1,and confirmed it by the 6.5m MMT observation.Supplementary observations to J0916 was carried out on XMM-Newton,as well as X-ray observations. We fitted the J0916 spectrum with the composite quasar spectrum, and got its extinction curve. We also calculated the column densities of several metals by AODM method and COG method. We infer that(1)the dust along the observation line i5 seriously depleted, and their diameters should be larger than 10(?);(2)The composite of the dxxst can be carbide, and they should be located in the area of the host galaxy where the energetic photons are shielded or the density of the energetic photons are low enough.
