With the increase in car ownership,traffic congestion has become a common phenomenon in major cities,the cause of urban road congestion is mainly due to the traffic conflict between the vehicles entering the bottleneck of the confluence area and the vehicles on the main line.In response to this conflict,how to alleviate traffic congestion has become a hot research direction in recent years.This paper studies the factors affecting the traffic flow in the confluence area of urban roads,and proposes tw.o traffic flow optimization schemes.Firstly,Aiming at the danger of driving in the confluence area,a safe lane changing model based on cellular automata is proposed.Based on existing models,the driver's psychological factors and the probability of lane change choice are introduced to improve the safety of vehicle driving during the lane change process,and establish a cellular automatic machine safe lane change model that is more in line with the actual road.At the same time,the safety of the model is verified by numerical simulation.On the basis of the safe lane changing model,the vehicle driving rules in the upstream,confluence and downstream of the confluence zone are respectively established.Through the simulation analysis,the effects of different acceleration lane lengths and different departure rates on the traffic flow in the confluence area are studied.Secondly,Introduced alternate control strategies based on the safe driving rules of the confluence area,and proposed two different optimization schemes at the intersection of the uncombined intersections:the first scheme is to advance the alternately passing areas.Moving the bottleneck of the merged area forward and then forcing,the incoming vehicle into the main line in advance,which causes the congestion at the real bottleneck to be alleviated.The second scheme is to make rational use of the gaps in the lanes of the main line when there are two or more lanes on the main line,and propose an optimization scheme for traffic flow in the confluence area.At the same time,the effectiveness of the two schemes is verified by simulation.Finally,the main research contents and conclusions of the thesis are summarized and analyzed.At the same time,according to the limitations and defects of the model,the problems to be further studied are put forward.
