Zoujiashan deposit has been exploited for nearly 50 years.Recent studies have found that there is a high content of Mo in the deposit, especially in the rich ore.If we don't recovered Mo element,it will not only waste resources, but also cause heavy metal pollution in the environment. The study on the geochemical characteristics of Mo in uranium ore and its adjacent altered surrounding rocks is the basic work of recycling and environmental pollution control. Therefore, the following relevant studies have been carried out, including field geological survey, microscopic observation, chemical composition analysis, electron probe analysis, electron microscope scanning, energy spectrum analysis, etc. On this basis, the immersion experiment of Mo in uranium ore under different acidity and oxidant conditions was carried out to try to understand the dissolution behavior of Mo in aqueous solution, which provided a preliminary basis for the future recycling and utilization. The following results have been achieved:(1)The uranium deposit in Zoujiashan is rich in Mo and Re.(1)The uranium ore of Zoujiashan(U>0.3%)is rich in Mo.The range of Mo elements in uranium ore samples was 825~7260?g/g,and the average content was 3823.2 ?g/g.The relationship between Mo and U is positively correlated.(2)Mo in uranium ore is mainly in the form of molybdenite.which is scaly,blade-like,veined and so on.The particle size is about 20 ?m,the short axis(sheet diameter)of flake molybdenite is 0.002-0.010 mm,the long axis is 0.01-0.10 mm.It is closely related to quartz and potash feldspar and is closely related to pyrite.(3)Other transitional elements in uranium ore: Re content of 15 molybdenum-rich uranium ores varied from 0.009 to 0.055?g/g,The content of Re in the earth's crust is very low, about 0.001?g/g,and Mo is closely and positively correlated with Re.The relationship between Mo element and W element and V element is also positively correlated.(4)Relationship between Mo element and other principal component: Mo was positively correlated with Al and Ca,and positively correlated with Ti,but the correlation was not obvious.Mo was not closely related to K,Na and Fe contents.(2)Enrichment characteristics of Mo in uranium body profile of Zoujiashan deposit.(1)Thirteen uranium ore body profiles were taken from Zoujiashan, and Mo and U elements were analyzed. The results show that Mo is positively correlated with U.The average content of Mo elements in the surrounding rock is 23.2?g/g;In uranium ore section, the content of Mo varied from 1000 to 10100?g/g,and the average content is 3957.6?g/g.(2)The metasomatism of Sodium and potassium are two typical alkali metasomatism in Zoujiashan uranium deposit. The content of Mo and U and the relationship between them are similar. There is a positive correlation between U and Mo.Mo elements were obviously enriched in both uranium ores, but more so in potassium metasomatic ores: In three sections of typical ore bodies,in the section(N)of sodium metasomatic mineralized altered rock, the variation range of Mo element content is 3~100?g/g;In k metasomatic mineralized altered rock profile(K1)in the middle section of no.10 ore belt no.4 in Zoujiashan, the variation range of Mo element content is 2.79~1586?g/g;In k metasomatic mineralized altered rock profile(K2)in the middle section of no.9 ore belt no.4 in Zoujiashan, the variation range of Mo element content is 2.13~41.0?g/g.(3)Experimental results of optimal conditions for Mo leaching in rich uranium ore show.Sample No.334-4(uranium content 5.68%,molybdenum content 3170?g/g)was soaked in distilled water, sulfuric acid and sulfuric acid with oxidant in three stages. The results showed that under the condition of 7 days of distilled water leaching, the leaching effect of Mo elements was not satisfactory, and the leaching rate was 0.32%.In the sulfuric acid immersion stage, with the increase of acidity, the leaching rate of Mo increased continuously and finally reached 45.53%.Under the leaching condition of sulfuric acid solution and adding oxidant, the leaching rate of Mo element gradually increases with the increase of acidity and the addition of oxidant. At 30g/L and 10 ml 30% hydrogen peroxide, the extraction efficiency of Mo elements was the best, and the final extraction rate of Mo elements was 95.43%.
