Gross Motor Development Of 8-10 Years Old Urban And Rural Children In Nanchong City The Development Research

3-10 years old is a sensitive period for children's gross motor development,and it is also the best period for children's motor skills,such as stability,coordination and mobility.It plays a crucial role in children's cognitive and emotional cultivation.The better the large muscle group develops,the better the basic motor skills of the child will be mastered.Psychologically speaking,children in this period of strong curiosity,like imitation and so on;Physiologically,children in this period of growth and development have good physical flexibility,plasticity and so on.And children aged 8 to 10 is in the midst of a relatively stable growth and Development stage,so this study choose NanChong phase of children aged 8 to 10 as the research object,and adopt suitable for children aged 3 to 10 big muscle action Development Test version 3(the Test of Gross Motor Development Third Edition,hereinafter referred to as TGMD-3)to evaluate the scale,a random sample of 233 urban and rural men and women,ages 8 to 10 children(117 boys,116 girls)respectively Test each movement ability and the ability to control object.This paper studies the development of gross motor in urban and rural children aged 8-10 years in NanChong city by various research methods such as literature,experiment and mathematical statistics.The purpose is to understand the basic status of gross motor development in urban and rural children aged 8-10 years in NanChong city and the factors that affect the development of gross motor in children.The results showed that:1.As children aged 8 to 10 years old in NanChong city grow older,their physical functions continue to improve,and their scores of gross motor skills test continue to improve.Among them,the scores of motor skills of displacement skills are higher than those of object control skills,showing an overall wave growth.2.Gender affects gross motor development of children.The female students' mastery of displacement skills is better than the male students',and there is a significant difference in some individual items.Boys outperform girls in object control skills.3.Factors affecting children's gross motor development in urban and rural areas.Due to the unfair educational process and results of urban and rural children due to educational funds,equipment allocation,teachers,educational conditions and teaching levels,there are significant differences in gross motor development of children,which has a great impact on the gross motor development of rural children.4.The development of displacement skills is better than object control ability for children aged 8-10 years in NanChong city.In the displacement test,the twomovements that have the most contact and are relatively simple and easy to master are the best,while the two movements that require high balance force and coordination ability,the front slide step and the side slide step,are relatively poor.In the object control test,two hands catch the ball and one hand dribble the ball in place are better,while one hand hold the bounce ball and two hands swing the stick to hit the fixed ball and catch the ball are worse.In terms of overall test scores,displacement skills are better than object control skills.5.The overall gross motor development of children aged 8-10 years in NanChong city is good.There was little difference in gross motor development between urban children and rural children.No matter in the balance ability,agility or explosive force and other physical qualities are constantly enhanced,can basically complete the big muscle movement,especially the older urban students,basically complete better.
