Study On The Influence Of Agricultural Natural Resources On Cultivated Land Concentration In Gansu Province

There are many factors that affect the intensification degree of arable land.Starting from the perspective of agricultural natural resources,this paper respectively investigates the effects of arable land resources,water resources,light and heat resources and germplasm resources on the intensification degree of arable land.The pursuit of higher intensification degree of arable land is determined by a series of attributes of arable land.Arable land has a special important position in agricultural production activities.It is not only a factor of agricultural production,but also a place for agricultural production activities.Meanwhile,the different location of arable land results in the difference of illumination and nutrient composition,and then affects the crop planting structure on it.Therefore,arable land plays a fundamental role in the process of agricultural production.But generally speaking,the supply of arable land is certain,so in order to pursue higher agricultural output,improving the intensification degree of arable land scientifically is the most effective solution.Gansu Province is located in the northwest inland China,having a vast territory.So the cultivated land there is abundant,but the overall quality of it is not high.Therefore,pursuing intensive management of arable land is one of the most important links in arable land utilization in Gansu Province.However,there are some short plates on the arable land resource itself in Gansu Province,such as serious shredding problem,large areas of sloping farmland,poor irrigation conditions,and the mismatch between soil and water resources.In the process of using high-quality arable land,there are also some problems lead to a further decline in the quality of arable land,including the occupation of high quality arable land and the supplement of poor quality land.Therefore,it is highly necessary to make an accurate measure of the intensification degree of arable land in Gansu province and analyze the influence of various agricultural resources on the intensification degree of arable land,seek a theoretical support and breakthrough for Gansu Province to enhance the intensification degree of arable land and improve the level of arable land utilization.Based on the data of Gansu Development Yearbook(2017),this paper starts with five categories including input index,output index,utilization degree,sustainability degree and ecological index,under which there are 19 specific indexes,to construct the evaluation model of arable land intensification degree and make an empirical analysis on the intensification degree of arable land in various cities(states)of Gansu Province by using principal component analysis method.At the same time,the relationship between arable land intensification degree and agricultural resources(arable land resources,water resources and labor resources)in Gansu Province is also discussed.The results suggest: the intensification degree of arable land in Gansu province shows a decreasing trend from northwest to southeast;the excellent arable land conditions(flat,concentrated and fertile)are positively correlated with the intensification degree of arable land;the effect of precipitation resources on arable land intensification degree in Gansu province is slight while good irrigation conditions are the effective driving factors of it;the illumination resources were positively correlated with the intensification degree of arable land in Gansu province,but the correlation between heat resources and arable land intensification degree was not obvious;germplasm resources effectively affect the intensification degree of arable land,that is crop varieties with a fast frequency of variety improvement and a high participation of agricultural machinery have a high degree of land intensification degree.Based on the conclusions of the research,this paper puts forward some suggestions on increasing the intensification degree of arable land in Gansu province,including speeding up the work of land formation,strengthening the construction of irrigation and water conservancy facilities,improving crop varieties and protecting primitive varieties,etc.This article is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.Firstly,it explains the research background,the significance of the article and the main research methods used in the article.At the same time,it sorts out the research ideas and framework of the article.Finally,it points out the possible innovation and shortcomings of it.The second part is the literature review and the definition of basic concepts.Firstly,it reviews and combs the relevant literature of agricultural natural resources and arable land intensification degree.Then,it separately elaborates the related theories of agricultural natural resources and arable land intensification degree,which provides the basis for the writing of this article.The third part is the section of empirical analysis.By constructing the evaluation model of arable land intensification degree,this part uses the principal component analysis method to measure the arable land intensification degree of each city(state)in Gansu Province.The fourth part discusses the influence of arable land resources,water resources,light and heat resources and germplasm resources on arable land intensification degree.And the last part is the conclusion and policy suggestions.It summarizes the previous research,and puts forward policy suggestions to improve the level of intensive use of arable land in Gansu Province based on the relevant conclusions.
