With the further development of China's economic and cultural level,the energy problem has increasingly become the focus of attention.First of all,China's per capita energy proved reserves are lower than the world average,but the per capita energy consumption in China is increasing year by year.Secondly,China's coal based energy structure has caused the increase of carbon dioxide emissions in China,and other environmental problems have become increasingly serious.Under the premise of ensuring the steady improvement of the economic level,in order to effectively deal with energy,environment and other issues,to enhance the efficiency of energy use has become an inevitable choice.The industrial sector has made outstanding contributions to China's economic development,but its energy consumption accounted for the total energy consumption of 70%,the carbon emissions of the whole society also occupy 70% of the total emissions of carbon dioxide.Therefore,the research on energy efficiency of industrial sector is of great significance.This paper evaluated the energy efficiency of industrial sectors in thirty provinces of China from 206 to 2012 using the super efficiency DEA model with non expected output.On this basis,the Malmquist index method is used to analyze the dynamic value of energy efficiency.The 30 provinces are divided into eight economic zones,and the eight economic zones are compared.After obtaining the energy efficiency value,taking energy efficiency as dependent variable,economic development level,energy consumption structure,marketization degree,industrialization level and technological progress as independent variables,the Tobit model is established in order to further study its influencing factors.The results show that the industrial sectors in Shanghai,Beijing,Tianjin and Guangdong have higher energy efficiency and the industrial sectors in Guizhou and Ningxia have shown poor performance.In addition,there are polarization phenomena in the industrial sectors of China's provinces.In terms of energy efficiency improvement,the energy efficiency of China's industrial sector shows an upward trend during the period of research.Among 30 provinces,the industrial sectors in Shandong and Hubei fared better,while the industrial sector in Shanxi lagged behind the rest of the country.The regression results of the Tobit model show that the energy consumption structure is negatively related to the energy efficiency of the industrial sector,and has the most significant impact on the energy efficiency.The other four factors are positively related to the energy efficiency of the industrial sector.Finally,according to the above results,the corresponding policy recommendations are put forward.
