The China Seismo-electromagnetic Satellite(CSES)is the only active satellite to monitor earthquake in the world.The purpose of CSES is to investigate iono-magnetospheric disturbance and the temporal stability of inner Van Allen radiation belts and to search the temporal correlation between the seismic and the electromagnetic disturbance in space.CSES is launched in February 2018.The high-energy particle package(HEPP)is a payload of CSES.It is made up by a high energy payload detector(HEPP-H),a low energy payload detector(HEPP-L)and a solar X ray monitor(HEPP-X).The aim of HEPP-H is to detect the position and energy spectrum of electrons(2-50 Me V)and protons in 500 km earth orbit.The field range of HEPP is 68°×68°.The energy resolution is 10%(FWHM)and the particle identification is 90% at least.In order to achieve the scientific goals,a front-end electronics,a digital acquisition system and a processing data system is designed in HEPP-H.There are 5 chapters in this article.In the first chapter,the background of the study and the three sub-detectors are introduced.In the second chapter,we describe the design of the calorimeter and the front end electronics.What’s more,we analyze the result of beam test.The main content of the third chapter is the software of the digital acquisition system.In the fourth chapter,we introduce the design of the processing data system.In the fifth chapter,we present the software of ground system.
