With the rapid growth of economy and the expanding of city scale,city is facing a shortage of space resources,dismatching of urban space layout and development goals.Adjustion of space structure could solve some urban problems and enhance the competitiveness of the city.Travel is not only urban residents’ daily behavior,but also necessary activities to keep the normal operation of cities.Through the study of spatial structure of travel behavior,the characteristics and problems of urban could be known and the basis for optimizing urban space structure can be provided.With the mature of informationization of cities,taxi GPS data is easier to get than before,which reflect travel information accurately and made urban structure refinement analysis possible.This paper based on the taxi GPS data,using spatial statistical method and clustering method,analysis the travel time and spatial structure and network structure of travel hot spots of the city;different time of people travel features and regularity and characteristics of urban spatial structure were found.Based on the above research,this paper has the following important conclusions:Nanjing has formed " one main and two vice,two axis multiple point" travel intensity spatial structure and spatial structure of travel time and spatial pattern contains 11 class travel characteristics zones.Under different time travel hot network structure,there are 6 kinds of dominant travel mode in workday morning rush,7 kinds of dominant travel patterns in workday later peak travel;weekend morning rush have 5 leading travel modes and weekend late peak has 6 leading travel pattern.Nanjing has more north and south contact than east and west.The first class hospital in nanjing during the workday is end hotspots,while it become the starting hotspots in the weekend;the living place and work place of weekend late peak is more concentrated than workday morning rush.To optimize urban spatial structure,we can perfect the urban space layout,take comprehensive traffic measures and improve the level of regional vitality.
