Human beings live in the three-dimensional world.The traditional display technology,lacking stereoscopic feeling,can only show two-dimensional images,and are increasingly difficult to meet the needs of development.Compared with the traditional display technology,the holographic display technology can provide depth information of three-dimensional scene that meets the physiological observation requirements of human eyes,and is considered as the final display technology.Computer generated hologram(CGH),which has been a hot direction in holographic research,combines computer technology to traditional optical holography.The flexibility and reproducibility of CGH are highly valued by researchers.CGH is usually designed as binary types to solve the nonlinear problems of photosensitive materials or output devices and improve the anti-jamming capability.With low noise sensitivity and high diffraction efficiency,binary hologram has a wide application in practice.However,the binarization of hologram,which inevitably produces reconstruction error,is essentially a destruction of itself.In order to reduce the reconstruction error,some optimized algorithms are proposed to reduce information loss.The direct binary search method is the most simple and effective algorithm,which can obtain binary holograms of higher quality,but it ignores the interrelation between pixels of holograms.Based on the perspective of phase interrelation in holographic gratings,a new optimized algorithm of binary hologram with iterative algorithm is proposed in this paper: random multi-pixel search method.The phase of the holographic diffraction grating is usually related to each other,but the interrelation is separated in common optimized method.The method in this paper calculates and keeps the best distribution by randomly obtaining multi pixels in the iteration,so that the interrelation among pixels is well increased,and the CGH has better reconstruction quality.Numerical and optical reconstruction are presented in this paper.The RMS,MSE and PSNR values of reconstructed image are all optimized compared with the direct binary search method.Optical results also indicate that this method can obtain better reconstruction quality,which provide a new reference of optimized algorithm in holograms.
