Research On The Characteristics Of Chang 2 Oil Reservoir In Maning Area Of Jingbian Oil Field

Maning area of Jingbian oil field is rich in hydrocarbon resources,but the whole exploration and research of Maning area is still in a low level.With methods and theories of stratigraphy,sedimentology,reservoir geology,logging geology and petroleum geolo gy.Based on research and observation of the outcrops and the cores,data of this area such as costing thin sections,SEM,physical property,size analysis,well logging and oil testing was comprehensively used in this paper,the stratum of Chang 2 Formation was divided and sublayers were compared.On the basis of the analysis of single well facies and section plane of well tie,this paper introduces characteristics of the sedimentary facies and sand body distribution.The characteristics of Chang 2 oil reservoir in Maning area are analyzed from the aspects of lithology,depositional environment,physical property,void type and pore structure.On above basis,the reservoirs evaluation of Chang 2 Formation in the Maning of Jingbian was summarized and the favorable target area was finally forecasted.According to the traditional division method,this paper divided Chang 2 Formation into Chang2~1,Chang2~2 and Chang2~3 using main and auxiliary symbol layer of this region,cyclical control and depth reference methods.And several connecting-well sections were established to make strata correlation.Through the sedimentary characteristics of studying region,this paper belives that the Chang 2 mainly develops braided river deposit.River channel sand dam is main sand body,which development is controlled by sedimentary facies.The connectedness of sand body which from northeast to southwest is preferable and the connectedness of sand body which from northwest to southeast is worse.Data analysis such as costing thin sections,mercury penetration and physical property shows that the reservoir character of Chang 2 Formation in the target area is with low compositional maturity and high structure maturity.The reservoir of Chang 2 Formation mianly about arkose or lithic arkose which are fine grain or mesograin.Porosity types are intergranular pore and emposieu,the structure of porosity is megalospore and thick throat or axial canal and thin throat.The reservoirs mainly in low permeabilit y and extra-low permeability.On the basis of these analysis such as sedimentary facies,physical property and structural feature,several favorable areas were forecasted and the geological basis forfurther exploration was provided.
