| “Terminology Series of Natural Sciences Contrasted by Chinese – Mongolian — Biology” was published in 1992.The dictionary is about plant and animal which includes basic,important and common terminology.The dictionary is also a comprehensive dictionary of biology."Biology" has been published and used for 27 years.In this period,with the change of the natural environment,the development of human society and the progress of science and technology,and the distribution and even the name of plants and animals have been changing constantly.With the demand of the development and changes and upgrades,inheriting the dictionary animal name the correct and reasonable terms,on the basis of this research from national zoology and animal science visual dictionary of name of mammals,points out some problems and correct it,unified and standard name,the existing terms can be selected to fill the name of the new terms,to further improve and optimize the dictionary content,it can not only satisfy the development of Mongolian biological animals,biological zoological knowledge popularization,and biological zoology of demand,the new fields Moreover,it is of great significance to the communication of biological zoology science and technology,the promotion and use of scientific research results,the compilation and publication of relevant textbooks and books for the teaching and research of biological zoology,and the translation of Mongolian and Chinese.Firstly,the table statistics method is used to fill in the tabular order of the selected Mongolian and Chinese names in the dictionary which are from the classification of mammals,named in accordance with the age,gender,the behavior and use of mammals.The total number is 985 names.Respectively with the corresponding 2 classes,5 subclasses,19 orders,10 suborders,82 families,5 subfamilies,778 genera or species(including 2 fossil species).There were 39 items names related to age,37 items names related to gender,and 6 items names related to both age and gender.One each item name related to behavior and use naming.Secondly,the taxonomic status and distribution of birds were analyzed by using the methods of literature study,animal taxonomy and zoogeography.Classification of,this paper studied 1 class,3 subclasses,19 orders,81 families and 506 names genera or species.Among them the distribution and region of 297 items were analyzed from 3 levels: foreign countries,China(except Inner Mongolia)and Inner Mongolia.This paper points out and corrects the problems in the mammal names recorded in the dictionary,and selects and recommends new names that can be filled.In accordance with the principles of correctness,simplicity,systematic,stability and so on,83 mammal names were corrected,standardized and unified.According to the classification,distribution,morphological structure,age and gender of mammals,263 new Mongolian and Chinese names of mammals were selected.At the same time,some Chinese names of mammals are given corresponding Mongolian names. |
