The fault belt in the northwest of Tangguzibasi depression is located at the transitional position of Tangguzibasi depression and Maigaiti slope,bachu uplift and Tazhong uplift,which is composed of Yudong fault belt,Madong fault belt,Tangbei fault belt and Zhong-3-tazhong-3 fault belt.In the plane of the performance of NW bulging to the arc-shaped fracture system.Three sets of structural layers are developed in the section,namely,the lower structure layer,the middle structure layer and the upper structure layer.Based on the detailed interpretation of the seismic profile in the study area and the theory of fault-related fold,the geometrical characteristics of the fault zone are systematically analyzed.Based on the combination features of the faults,the tectonic styles are divided into three types,Basal-entrain thrust fault,caprock slip-thrust fault and composite overlaying thrust fault.Combining the activities of the orogenic belts in the periphery of the Tarim Basin and through the compilation of the study area's balance section,the study area mainly experienced four stages of tectonic activity: the basement fault are developed and local strata are slightly undulated in early;in the Caledonian Middle ? curtain,thrusts are developed in the middle structure layer;the Caledonian Middle ? curtain is the main active period of the fault belt,forming a thrust fault along the Middle Cambrian Awatage Formation;Fault belt occurs inheritance activity in Late Caledonian-early Hercynian.
