| The segmented-mirror technology help the aperture of the astronomical telescope break through the limitation of mirror billet material etc.But the sub-mirror support system has some new requirements like stability, adjusting mechanism stiffness, precision adjustment and adjustment convenience. Therefore, research on the sub-mirror adjusting mechanism is one of the key technologies for the new generation of large astronomical telescope. In this paper,we take the Wide-angle Cherenkov Telescope which based on segmented-mirror technology as the research object, mainly studies the sub-mirror adjusting mechanism configuration, kinematics, static stiffness, adjusting simulation, adjustment experiment and other key technical problems.Providing a viable technical reserve for the upgrading of the telescope sub-mirror support system and the construction of other segmented-mirror splicing telescopes in the future. The main innovative results are as follows:1、Based on the actual needs of the sub-mirror adjusting mechanism and the analysis of the performance of a variety of parallel mechanisms,a new configuration of two degree of freedom parallel mechanism(3-PSS/U)is proposed;2、The virtual prototype of the mechanism is designed;Established the mathematical model and deduced the inverse solution of this Parallel mechanism;3、The finite element model of the mechanism is established, and the static stiffness of the mechanism is analyzed;4、Through the simulation analysis of relationship between input and output about the mechanism,it is found that the mechanism has the kinematic characteristics of adjusting the process steady and gradual decoupling in the small angle adjustment process; And the arrangement of the sub-mirror adjusting mechanism is designed;5、The results of lens confocal alignment experimental show that the kinematic characteristics of the sub-mirror adjusting mechanism are approximately decoupled. |
