A silicon-on-insulator(SOI)waveguide shows a strong nonlinear effect and tight-mode confinement, while the SOI waveguides processing technology and CMOS processing technology are compatible, making SOI waveguide widely used in optoelectronic integration. In recent years,Airy has become a research hotspot because of its non-diffraction,self-acceleration,self-healing properties and potential value in optical applications.Solitons appear by balancing the dispersion effect and nonlinear effect in optical fiber. It is a kind of wave packet which can transmit stably in nonlinear medium and has important application in the field of communication. In this paper, the nonlinear Schr?dinger equation(NLSE)is numerically solved utilizing split-step Fourier method in MATLAB to obtain the transmission characteristics of the pulse in the SOI waveguide. In process of interaction with soliton, partial energy of the main lobe is separated from Airy pulse and transmitted along soliton transmission trajectory. The soliton produces a series of end edge oscillations under the combined action of third-order dispersion,Kerr effect, and two-photon absorption. When the soliton is affected by the Airy pulse, the propagation distance decreases, and the trailing edge oscillation frequency increases. The change of the truncation coefficient will affect the energy of the two focus points of the Airy pulse, and the increase of the initial power will lead to an increase in loss. The increase of the initial pulse width will increase the distance that the Airy pulse transmits to the focus point and increases the space-time distance of the two focus points. At the same time, the transmission quality of the soliton be improved. When a chirped Airy pulse is transmitted in the SOI waveguide, the magnitude of the chirp coefficient affects the degree of compression and the pulse distance. When the Airy pulse has an initial positive chirp, the degree of focusing is higher. When the Airy pulse has an initial negative chirp, the degree of focusing is reduced.Increases of both the truncation coefficient and initial input power cause a decrease in the degree of pulse focusing. The larger the third-order dispersion, the shorter the distance that the initial Airy pulse is transmitted to the focus point, and the shorter the distance between the focus points.
