With the development of "Digital China" and the improvement of information technology,huge amount of data have been generated,which marks that China has really entered the era of big data.The visualization of meteorological data based on geographic information is one of the most widely used fields of big data.Based on meteorological data people's food,clothing,housing and transportation depend on meteorological services,and meteorological centers update thousands of gigabytes of information every day.The huge scale of data is inevitably promoting the development of visualization technology in the field of meteorology.Meteorological data has the characteristics of time-sensitive and efficient.Geographic data has the characteristics of regional and spatial,and it can provide background information.They complement and depend on each other.Only by fully integrating geographic information can we comprehensively analyze meteorological data and monitoring data to simulate and predict weather changes.Therefore,this paper using Geographic Information System(GIS)and image processing technology,meteorological and geographic information data are organically integrated.Different from traditional data processing technology,this paper expresses data through visual charts,images and animations,realizes data self-talk,improves data analysis ability,and provides more efficient services for basic information platforms such as meteorological integrated monitoring system,satellite remote sensing inversion system and intelligent grid prediction system.This main work of this paper:1.In order to realize the data visualization of geographic information,a thematic vector maps are produced through geographic information processing technology.The geographic information data is transformed from strings of character to a "map" with vector information,which provides regional and background information for the visual representation of meteorological data in the following step.2.Through python visual processing technology,the meteorological data is transformed from a single data statistic into a two-dimensional visualization chart and animation with higher readability and stronger interpersonal interaction,which realizes the visualization of meteorological data.3.With the support of geographic information,combined with geographic information processing technology and python visual processing technology to spatially visualize meteorological data.Data superposition,query,rendering and fusion of satellite remote sensing images are realized.4.For satellite remote sensing image,wavelet transform is added before image segmentation,and three different wavelets are selected to fuse the image.Through quality evaluation,the best fused image is selected as the original image for segmentation.Finally,different elements in an image are segmented by clustering segmentation algorithm.Through the above work,meteorological data and meteorological observation data are transformed from traditional statistical tables to more readable charts,images and animations,It breaks stereotype of conventional meteorological and geographic data as being boring,and gives the public a brand-new visual impact,which makes satellite remote sensing images more widely used in single factor analysis,and provides technical support for the modernization of meteorological fields.
