During the operation of the locomotive,bownet contact friction generates wear.When the wear value exceeds the alert value,it may result in pulling the net.In severe cases,it may cause the catenary to be broken.If the pantograph contact occurs,such as poor contact,arcing will occur,and the contact will be broken.The net and the burned-out core components of the pantograph have caused the locomotive to stop because it cannot take power from the contact network,which seriously threatens the safe operation of the train.Pyramid carbon skateboards produce cracks during use.These cracks seriously affect the flow of the locomotive and are also precursors to the breakdown of the pantograph.If they are not discovered in time,they will pose potential safety hazards for the locomotive operation.When the crack is large,It may directly lead to the breakage of the pantograph slide,so that the locomotive cannot normally receive the flow,resulting in a shutdown accident.The wear detection of the pantograph can guarantee the safety of running and provide a stable and continuous current supply for the locomotive running.For the long-term operation of the locomotive,due to the serious wear of the pantograph carbon slide caused by the contact of the bow net,which causes the locomotive to pull the arc and burn the contact net,the image processing method for the on-line detection of the remaining amount of the pantograph carbon slide wear by the monocular camera is deeply studied.the study.The monocular camera and the line laser are respectively mounted on the two sides of the track,and the obtained laser scanned image is denoised,spliced,morphologically processed,and the carbon skate target is extracted.The collected light stripe image includes carbon slide thickness information and thickness data.The extraction is used to calculate the current actual thickness value of the carbon skateboard..This paper proposes a novel pantograph wear detection system by combining the principle of laser scanning with the measurement method of monocular vision plane objects.The system only needs to calibrate the target plane once.The target plane is the laser plane;keeping the laser plane and the relative position of the camera constant,it can be calibrated without every measurement,thus achieving industrialization and automation.The system has high measurement accuracy.With good real-time performance,it can meet the technical index requirements and industry standards for railway pantograph detection.
