Hydrogen production for electric vehicles and other occasions is an important development direction at present.Hydrogen production by plasma phase discharge has the advantages of simple and reliable device,small volume and light weight,and high hydrogen production rate.It is suitable for electric vehicles to decompose alcohol on site to produce hydrogen.Although the study of liquid-phase discharge plasma technology has been for decades,the control and diagnosis of discharge plasma is relatively difficult.The current study is not perfect,and the study of alcohol decomposition for electric vehicles and other occasions still needs to be continued.In view of the current problems of liquid-phase discharge plasma,the electrical parameters and physical parameters of multi-pulse discharge are diagnosed in anhydrous ethanol,and the study is carried out by means of emission spectroscopy,high-speed photography,etc.The active particles were qualitatively and quantitatively tested for reference to alcohol discharges.The specific research results are as follows:1.Higher applied voltage amplitude,lower frequency and smaller discharge electrode Angle are conducive to the formation of multiple pulses.Meanwhile,voltage frequency and electrode Angle have a significant impact on the breakdown voltage,while the impact of low frequency band and high frequency band is different.In this paper,emission spectra were used to analyze the changes of reactive particles,mainly C2 and H.The results showed that the voltage amplitude,frequency and electrode Angle had an impact on the emission intensity and relative ratio of each group,and C2 group was more likely to appear at a lower frequency.In the process of shooting dynamic development with a high-speed camera,each current pulse corresponds to a breakdown discharge.The discharge intensity is proportional to the amplitude of the current pulse,and the first breakdown in each half cycle has a stronger current pulse.The above results provide a deeper understanding and reference for the study of multi-pulse phenomena.2.The research results of ac discharge in water show that the concentration of reactive particles produced by needle-surface discharge and needle-plate discharge in nitrogen and oxygen is the best respectively,while there is little difference in the concentration of reactive particles produced by different electrode forms in air.The higher the voltage amplitude and the smaller the electrode spacing are,the more favorable it is for the production of the active particles.The existence of the optimal gas velocity maximizes the concentration of the active particles and the lowest gas cost.These results provide theoretical reference for sewage treatment and are beneficial for us to explore the particle transport,chemical reaction and other microscopic processes in ethanol discharge.
