With the development of national economic,oil and gas resources have become increasingly inadequate.Therefore,it is necessary to explore and develop oil and gas fields rationally that have been found,and increase oil and gas production continuously.In the petroleum industry,the detection of oil-gas-water interface is very necessary,and the accurate identification of oil and gas interface plays an important role in oil and gas storage,and transportation as well as exploration.In this report,terahertz(THz)spectroscopy is employed to evaluate the oil-gas-water interface and the separation process of oil and water mixtures.Meanwhile,terahertz spectrum analysis methods are also developed for the sake of optical application.The results are as follows:1?The time domain spectrum and frequency domain spectrum of oil-gas interface were studied by terahertz spectroscopy technology.The results show that there is a bimodal response in the time-domain spectrum and a oscillation phenomenon in frequency-domain spectrum at oil-gas interface.This experimental results confirm the feasibility of using terahertz timedomain spectroscopy to detect oil-gas interface.2?The terahertz spectroscopy technology was used to study the oil-gas-water interface in time domain spectrum and frequency domain spectrum.Since water has a strong absorption on terahertz waves,there is no obvious bimodal response in the time-domain spectrum,and no oscillation phenomenon in frequency-domain spectrum at the oil-water interface.At the same time,the 3D printing sample cell was introduced in this study.The terahertz imaging technology was used to image the oil-gas-water interface in 3D printing sample cell.3?The terahertz spectroscopy technology was used to study the separation process of oil-water mixtures.The separation process of oil-water mixtures was given in real time and quantitatively by the change of terahertz time-domain spectroscopy.It provides a fast and accurate technical means for the stability evaluation of oil-water mixtures through our work.
