CFD6-4 Oilfield is located in the western slope of the Bozhong Sag,with Shijiutuo Sag to the north and Nanpu Sag to the west.Drilling revealed that conglomerate reservoir is rich in oil and gas,which indicates a prospect exploration.However,the complexity of inner reservoir and unclear distribution of conglomerate reservoir bring great risks to the development of oilfield.Based on 3-D seismic data,limited well logs and core data,this paper aims to study conglomerate reservoir characterization in the Member 3 Dongying Formation of the study area.Firstly,the paper studies basic geological characteristics of conglomerate reservoir,including lithofacies,reservoir properties,sedimentary microfacie and sedimentary stage,in the Member 3 Dongying Formation of the study area.The result shows that there are four main types of lithofacies in study area,and massive gravelly sandstone deposits in turbidity currents has the best physical property which belongs to the underwater distributary channel.Through well-to-seismic integrated study,five stages of conglomerate bodies(I-V)are identified,the development of them changes vertically from progradation to retrogradation.Secondly,based on the processed well log and petrophysical property analysis,we design three geological models of reservoir thickness,mudstone interlayer and channel boundary through the statistics of sand body thickness and comparison of field outcrops;The result shows that RMS-attribute and Energy-attribute are sensitive to reservoir thickness,while the Phase-attribute and Frequency-attribute have a good correlation with the channel boundary in the study area.Finally,taking the V-stage conglomerate reservoir which is rich in oil as an example,we use the 25 Hz dominant seismic and extract RMS attribute under the conclusion of attributes sensitivity analysis in seismic forward modeling.There are four sets conglomerate bodies in V-stage period with large scale differences in plane distribution,which provides a direct geological evidence for well location deployment in the study area.
