The generation of aurora is inseparable from three elements: the atmosphere,the magnetic field and the high-energy particle flow(the solar wind).The Earth's magnetosphere and the solar wind cause high-level atmospheric molecular ionization,which releases beautiful aurora.From the reason of the birth of Aurora,we can also see that the generation and change of Aurora carry a lot of information about the Earth's magnetic field and geomagnetic activity.China has a site to collect auroral data in the north and south poles.The subsequent compressed transmission of the collected data,visualization and related processing to detect changes in the aurora is urgently needed to be solved.This thesis first introduces the research background and current situation of aurora image,then proposes and implements the compression and transmission of auroral data,and realizes the visualization of multi-site auroral image data.The advantages and disadvantages of the two methods of drawing the aurora profile and drawing the auroral curve based on the fluid field are discussed.The main research content of this paper is divided into the following sections: 1)Compression and transmission of auroral data.In this paper,the Aurora data is compressed by CALIC prediction and interval coding,and then the FTP protocol is used for network transmission.Thereby,the lossless compression of a large amount of Aurora data collected by the pole is realized,the amount of data is greatly reduced,and the data is transmitted back to the country for processing.This greatly reduces the amount of data to be transmitted and enables data to be transmitted in the case of poor network and bandwidth conditions.2)Visualization of multi-site auroral data.The visualization of aurora data at the three stations of the Arctic Yellow River Station,the Antarctic Iceland Station and the Antarctic Zhongshan Station was realized.This part can draw the grayscale image of the selected file of the corresponding site by selecting the corresponding site,and simultaneously display the grayscale image of other channels,that is,multi-channel display.At the same time,you can adjust the time interval to play Aurora image video,and click to enlarge the Aurora image.3)Drawing of the aurora schematic.The luminance information on the magnetic meridian of each frame of the aurora image in a certain time period is extracted according to a certain time interval,and a series of image processing such as pseudo color processing is performed,and then combined into a polar motion map,that is,a keogram map,in time series.The Keogram map reflects the changes in aurora over time.The multi-threaded design makes it possible to batch process aurora data of different bands at different time periods and generate a Keogram map,which greatly facilitates the study members to observe changes in aurora.4)Drawing of the auroral curve.The method of introducing the fluid extracts the motion field of the auroral sequence,calculates the auroral motion characteristics at each moment,and plots the curve of the auroral motion characteristics with time,that is,the auroral curve.The auroral curves were compared to see if they were consistent and the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods were compared.
