In recent years, more and more countries set up the Aurora Observation Station in the north and south pole, The characteristics and morphological changes of the aurora were studied. The characteristics of the aurora and its manifestations are closely related to the changes of the magnetic field and the dynamics of the boundary layer. So it is very important to study the morphology of various kinds of Aurora.This paper first introduces the research background of the aurora image and the developme nt and current situation of data processing of aurora image.The problem of the aurora data processing and the significance of the introduction of Keogram to the study of the aurora are analyzed in this paper, Then the method of the data processing of the aurora profile and the visualization method of the aurora profile are presented. The main research content of this paper is:1. The method of Keogram data processing. It includes Keogram magnetic meridian data extraction, Keogram data synthesis and data preservation.It is basic algorithm for Keogram data processing. In the implementation of the algorithm, the method of multi channel data processing is adopted, and the process of data processing is carried out so that the algorit hm can be embedded into the system.It ensures that the system can deal with the aurora images of different bands and different time periods,and generate aurora profile data and visuali ze it.2. Core functions of Keogram data processing system. Mainly includes three modules of the design: Historical data processing module, real-time data processing module and data processing module. The data processing logic of the three modules is different. Historica l data processing is the processing of the local storage of data, can handle arbitrary band, any time Keogram data. Real time data processing is mainly focused on the real-time processing of the process, while processing three bands of real-time Aurora images. Batch processing of data is the data for more than ten days or even months to batch processing and save as Mat file.3. Keogram visualization method and the solution to the problem of the system. In data visualization, this paper has realized the cross day processing of historical data, so that the 48 hours of the aurora profile can be displayed continuously. The problem that the pseudo color image can not be accurately displayed due to the large span of the aurora data is solved, and the dynamic variable pseudo color map is proposed, which can better reflect the information of the aurora images. And the corresponding method of the magnetic meridia n and the original image can be realized in the operation of the mouse movement. For the information of the aurora, the aurora images of each day were retrieved by the calendar, and the complex path of the aurora data storage was solved. And the number of the images of the aurora in the calendar as well as the evaluation of scientific research and evaluation of the stars.In the entire data processing and network transmission system, there are many can continue to improve. The efficiency of the data processing in the aurora profile is still a great deal of optimization, the need to improve the algorithm of data processing, optimize the time complexity, so that the processing time is further shortened. The current system only applies to the Arctic Yel ow River station observation data, due to the storage path format file naming method, and different types of images, the system cannot deal with the other expedition station data, need to do more research in the general system. In real time network transmission, the file should be labeled, otherwise it will cause the collapse of the program when it is processed in real time data. So we need to improve the robustness of the algorithm.
