The Panshi-Liaoyuan area is located in the suture part of Siberia plate and North China plate, and the northeastern of the Paleozoic accretion zone in the northern edge of North China plate. The magmatism was strong and intrusive rocks were widely distributed in Paleozoic and Mesozoic with a good prospecting perspective were formed..Skarn-type and magmatic hydrothermal deposits are formed in the contact zone between granite and strata or in the area with fracture structure.Volcanic hydrothermal and cryptoexplosive breccia deposits were formed in the late Jurassic volcanic belt and minerals include uranium, molybdenum, gold, copper, lead, zinc, antimony and tungsten.Based on the project of"geological survey of uranium deposits in Liaoyuan area,Jilin Province",the systematic collection and analysis of previous data, this paper systematically studies the geological characteristics, geochemical prospecting indicators, geophysical prospecting indicators and regional uranium prospecting potential of uranium deposits in Panshi Liaoyuan area was studied in this paper.No.1 and No.2 ore bodies are located according to the grade of chemical analysis samples. The No.1 ore body, with an average grade of 0.0443%and a thickness of 0.46m,occurs in altered diorite, with alterations including sericite and potash feldspar. The grade of No.2 ore body is 0.0332%and the thickness is 0.50m,which occurs in altered granite of skarn belt.Based on the studies of the geological characteristics and metallogenic conditions of the deposit,it is considered that the uranium mineralization in LS is similar to that in the middle basic dyke type uranium deposit, and the uranium mineralization in BX is a skarn-type uranium deposit. After the reprocessing of the regional geochemical exploration data,it is considered that the ore-forming elements including Sn,W,La,th,Pb,be,Nb,K2O,U and Mo in the study area have a characteristic of high background content, and the ore-forming elements including La,W,Sn and U,Mo have characteristics of enrichment and superposition of multi-stage hydrothermal activity, especially the large-area anomalies of U,Mo,W and other elements.the cluster analysis and factor analysis of ore-forming elements show that the assemblages of superimposed metallogenic indicator such as W-Mo,Cu Zn,Nb-Y-U-K2O exist in the study area. After reprocessing the regional gamma total measurement data, two areas with prospecting potential are located, and the spatial distribution is basically the same as the abnormal area of geochemical element assemblages.According to the ground gamma spectrum measurement,11 abnormal areas are located, indicating that there is good metallogenic potential in the study area.According to the known mineralization characteristics and geological, geophysical and geochemical prospecting indicators, two ore-forming prospective areas named yj-1?II?and YJ-2?III?are located in the study area. And at the same time, two class C prospecting targets named BQ-1 and BQ-2 are located in the prospective area?II?of YJ-2 to provide selection and basis for the subsequent exploration deployment.
