Research On Protection Of Geological Remains Based On Public Cognition

Geological relics are an inseparable part of the geological environment that is closely connected to human existence.They are a historical model of the earth's vicissitudes and a window for the public to understand the knowledge of earth science.The problems to be discussed in this paper are to understand and master the social public's cognition of geological relics protection and the habit of acquiring relevant information of geological relics and geological parks.In order to study the public's cognition on the protection of geological relics,this paper adopts the social survey method and issues questionnaires to the public to obtain data.The public types of situationals are divided based on the public situational theory,and the social public's cognition on the protection of geological relics is studied by means of one-way ANOVA,descriptive statistical analysis and regression analysis.Firstly,respondents of geography,geology and resources related disciplines and those who have been to geopark have a certain understanding of the protection of geological relics.On this issue that the protection of geological relics,the amount of non-public is relatively large,and the public's needs to improve the awareness of the protection of geological relics.Secondly,problem cognition and the degree of the situation involvement will have a marked impact on information acquisition behavior.Problem limiting cognition has a prominent negative impact on information acquisition behavior.This shows that the stronger the public's awareness of geological relic protection issues,the higher the involvement degree of situationals,and the lower the awareness of problem restrictions,the more likely it is to actively collect relevant information on geological relic protection issues.Thirdly,the degree of problem cognition and situational involvement is more strong explanatory of the public's information acquisition behavior than that of problem restriction cognition.Therefore,it can be seen that the factors that have the strongest influence on the respondents' information acquisition behavior on geological relic protection are not problem restriction cognition,but problem cognition and situational involvement.Finally,we get the following enlightenment according to the above research conclusions.Firstly,raising public awareness of geoparks and geological relics and vigorously developing popular science tourism is one of the priorities of the work.Secondly,raising the awareness level of the public who are not majoring in geology and improve the knowledge of earth science of the whole people.Thirdly,we should deal with the relationship between geological relics and popular science in geoparks and tourism,and popularize knowledge about geological relics by the way of entertaining.Fourthly,enriching the publicity methods for geoparks and broadening the publicity channels.Fifthly,enterprises should have great responsible sense of to make the public have a more intuitive understanding of geological relics and their protection issues,so that the public can feel that the protection of geological relics is closely connected to each of us.
