In view of the problems that need to be solved in the exploration of natural gas in coal measures in the northern part of Jizhong sag at present,on the basis of establishing and perfecting complete data, applying new technology and adopting new gas exploration concept, this paper summarizes the rules of natural gas accumulation in the northern part of Jizhong sag,and mainly analyzes the geological characteristics and reservoir forming conditions of Carboniferous Permian system in Wen'an slope. The geological structure shows the characteristics of "East-West zoning,north-south zoning".The burial history of different zones shows two end element types: settlement uplift settlement and settlement uplift. In this area, three depositional systems,i.e.coastal tidal flat swamp,Delta and river, can be identified, resulting in a variety of genetic types of sand bodies;depositional filling patterns can be summed up into three types,i.e.slow subsidence land surface sea water intrusion, slow uplift land sea transition and rapid uplift River vertical and horizontal, forming a good source reservoir cap combination vertically. In the process of burial and diagenesis of sandstone reservoir, influenced by its unique geological structure and burial history, the diagenetic characteristics and diagenetic evolution sequence are also different, especially the special epigenetic leaching of intermittent burial diagenetic sequence is very important to the formation of secondary pores, and the deep leaching of atmospheric water further improves the reservoir performance of fault development area, and thus creates The best reservoir in this area.It is suggested to strengthen the study of lithologic oil and gas reservoirs in each layer of Carboniferous Permian system.
