On The Structures And Dimensions Of Moran Sets

The Moran sets are defined by a more flexible geometric fashion than the classical self-similar sets.In this paper,we consider the dimension calculation problem for a general class of Moran sets.Noticing the remarkable difference between the structures of Moran sets and that of self-similar sets,we will see some new techniques and dimension results which are distinguished from the classical ones.We will review and organize the geometric structures of some typical fractal sets,as well as the calculation and estimate techniques of dimensions of these sets in a general way.We will focus our consideration on the homogeneous Moran sets.This is a reading report of several important works of Wen,Hua,Feng,Wu and Rao on Moran sets,see[1,2].
