High-speed,highly integrated photonic devices are an important research direction in optical communication technology.Surface plasmon-based photonic devices are able to overcome the diffraction limit and realize the transmission and processing of optical signals under sub-wavelength condition.While optical device based two-dimensional materials,like graphene attract much attention because of the superior performance at size,strength,processability,and more importantly,the optoelectronic properties.The study of photonic devices based on graphene surface plasmonis a major research hotspot in recent years,which can be used to build high-performance tunable photonic devices under nanoscale.This article studied compact silicon-based tunable plasmonic devices based on graphene integrated hybrid plasmonic waveguides.With the simulation soft,the modetransmission of graphene integrated hybrid plasmonic waveguides are analyzed.Starting from the polarization separation device based on the coupling between the hybrid plasmonic waveguides and the strip waveguide,a kind of tunable PBS are build by introduced graphene integrated hybrid plasmonic waveguides into the original device to archieve tunablity,and device works under different coupling lengthst were tested and analyzed by simulation.Based on the tunable PBS,several compact tunable surface plasmon optical device was proposed,including tunable Y-splitter and modulator.The feasibiility of these devices are verified by simulation.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1.Discussion about the graphene-integrated hybrid plasmonic waveguide,including the effect of chemical potential changing on the waveguide..2.Based on polarization beam splitter device with introduced graohene,the feasibility of the tunable PBS is analyzed.By adjusting the structure of tunable PBS,a kind of Y splitter with a tunable output ratio is archieved,the output of the Y-splitter can switch between 10:7(or 6:5)and 76:1(or 10:1),besides by additional grapheneintegrated hybrid plasmonic waveguide or cascaded method,it's able to realize a tunable spectroscopic system with a complex structure in the simulation.Furthermore,a structure based on above Y-splitter that can be used to build compact light modulator is discussed.The modulator are also observed and analzed through simulation,and this modulator has a extinction ratio of 5.9 dB with a the modulation length of 3.2 ?m,this value has room for further optimization.3.From the simulation structure,an experiment to verify the conformity of the plasma waveguide on the d fiber platform was designed.
