In view of the real airborne meteorological radar system,there are hidden dangers of radar wave radiation safety,limited meteorological conditions that can be detected,and the use of pure digital simulation radar is not good enough to meet the practical teaching and training problems.The simulation technology designed an airborne meteorological radar simulation system.Radar detection is realized by simulation,and radar control is realized by physical objects,which effectively reduces the cost and development cycle of the simulation system.This paper first introduces the research status of radar semi-physical simulation technology and radar meteorological image simulation algorithm and its deficiencies in engineering applications;secondly analyzes the structure and principle of real airborne meteorological radar,combined with the needs of airborne meteorological radar teaching and training,The overall design of the simulation system is proposed,including system hardware design and system software design.In terms of system hardware,WCP-701 meteorological radar control box and WMA-701 radar antenna assembly are used as hardware,and the computer is used as the control core,combined with the corresponding peripheral functional circuits to complete the system hardware design.Aiming at the interaction between computer and hardware,the ARINC429 bus communication circuit of the radar control box and the radar antenna motion control circuit based on the PCI motion control card are designed.In terms of system software,WPF(Windows Presentation Foundation)technology is used for simulation control software design,the software interface is designed using XAML language,and the programming of software function modules is completed in C # language.Mainly studied the analysis algorithm of ARINC708 meteorological data,designed the imaging method based on the analyzed data,realized the meteorological information generation and simulation display of multiple meteorological targets under the training environment;analyzed and summarized the test process in the maintenance manual of the accessory of the radar component,designed Radar component maintenance test program,and completed the performance test of the radar antenna and the functional test of the radar control box.Finally,this paper designs and builds an airborne meteorological radar semi-physical simulation system.The verification results show that the simulation system realizes the display and control functions of the airborne meteorological radar.The simulation system has been applied to actual teaching work and achieved good results.
