The leafhopper tribe Scaphoideini belongs to the subfamily Deltocephalinae(Hemiptera: Cicadellidae),and it is a large worldwide distribution group of Deltocephalinae. In this thesis, the history and current situations of taxonomic study of the tribe Scaphoideini both in China and abroad were remembered, and the taxonomic characteristics of this tribe was introduced. On the basis of taxonomy and geographical distribution of the tribe Scaphoideini was studied. The main results are as follows:1.Taxonomy154 species of 13 genera of Scaphoideini are recorded in China, among them, including 2 new genera,14 new species,2 new record species and 2 new combinations, and proposing 1 specific synonym(2 new genera,6 new species,1 new combination and 1 specific synonym has been published). At the same time, the keys of each genus and species were provided,82 species were described, and the male genital structure features were drawn and the color pictures for adult habitus were obtained. The type specimens and examined specimens were deposited in the Institute of Entomology,Guizhou University,Guiyang,China(GUGC).New genera: Changbaninus Fang & Xing,2019 and Parascaphoidella Wei,Fang & Xing,2020.New species: Changbaninus furcatus Fang & Xing,2019;Changbaninus pleiospicules Fang & Xing,2019;Longicornus biprocessus Fang & Xing,2018;Longicornus brevispinus Fang & Xing,2019;Longicornus gracilitus sp.nov.;Longicornus furcatus Fang & Xing,2018;Mimotettix breviplateus sp.nov.;Mimotettix hamatus sp.nov.;Phlogotettix breprocessus sp.nov.;Phlogotettix dentatus sp.nov.;Phlogothamnus circinatus sp.nov.;Scaphoideus longtanensis sp.nov.;Scaphoideus widestripeus sp.nov.and Parascaphoidella furcella Wei,Fang & Xing,2020.China new record species: Phlogotettix indicus Rao,1989 rec.nov.and Phlogotettix subhimalyanus Meshram,Chandra Bose R.& Ramamurthy,2015 rec.nov..New combinations: Parascaphoidella transversa(Li & Xing,2009)and Phlogotettix fanjinshanensis(Li,2011)comb.nov..New synonym: Longicornus yunnanensis Xing & Li,2011 is a junior synonym of Longicornus flavipuncatus Li & Song,2008 2.Faunal analysisThis thesis systematically and comprehensively analyzed 13 genera and 154 species of the Scaphoideini in Zoogeographic regions of the world and China. The results are as follows:At generic level: 13 genera constitute 6 types of distribution in Zoogeographic regions in the world.Among them,5 genera are distributed in Oriental region, which making up 38.46%;3 genera are distributed in Oriental—Palaearctic region, which making up 23.08%.If all the genera which include the region genus are calculated,13 genera in total will belong to Oriental region, making up100%;and 5 genera in total will belong to Palaearctic, making up 38.46%;a few genera distributed in other regions. And 13 genera constitute 8 types of distribution in Chinese Zoogeographic regions.Among them,4 genera are distributed in Southwestern China region—Central China region—South China region, which in the most total number of genera making up 30.77%.If all the genera which include the region genus are calculated,11 genera in total will belong to Southwestern China region and Central China region, making up 84.62%,and 10 genera in total will belong to South China region, which make up 50.00%.Therefore,it is obvious that Oriental region genera compose the majority of the Chinese Scaphoideini at generic level, and Palaearctic region is secondary. And the Southwestern China region and Central China region genera compose the majority of the Chinese Scaphoideini at generic level, and Southern China region is secondary. At specific level: 154 known species of the tribe Scaphoideini from China constitute 4 types of distribution in Zoogeographic regions in the world.Among them,133 species are distributed in Oriental region, which in the most total number of species occupying 86.36%,and 14 species in total will belong to Oriental—Palaearctic region, which make up 9.09%.If all the species which include the region species are calculated, then 148 species in total will belong to Oriental region, making up 96.10%,and 21 species in total will belong to Palaearctic region, which make up 13.64%.Therefore,it is obvious that Oriental species compose the majority of the Chinese Deltocephalini and Paralimnini at specific level, and Palaearctic region is secondary.And,154 species constitute 21 types of distribution in seven Chinese Zoogeographic regions.Among them,36 species are distributed in Central China region, which in the most total number of species occupying 23.38%,and 32 species in total will belong to Southwestern China region, which make up 20.78%.If all the species which include the region species are calculated, then 79 species in total will belong to Central China region, making up 51.30%,and 73 species in total will belong to Southwestern China region, which make up 47.40%,61 species in total will belong to South China sub-region,which take up 39.61%.Therefore,it is obvious that Oriental species compose the majority of the Chinese Scaphoideini at specific level, and Palaearctic region is secondary. The Central China region species compose the majority of the Chinese Scaphoideini at specific level,Southwestern China region is secondary.
