| The superfamily Orthezioidea(Hemiptera: Sternorrhyncha: Coccomorpha)is the oldest and the most primitive group of scale insect.In this thesis,the history and current situations of taxonomic study of the superfamily Orthezioidea both in China and abroad were remembered,and the taxonomic characteristics of this superfamily was introduced,and geographical distribution of the superfamily Orthezioidea in Guizhou province was studied.The main results are as follows:1.Taxonomy12 species of 8 genera in 4 families of Orthezioidea are recorded in Guizhou province,among them,including 6 new species(1 new species has been published),2new record family,5 new records genus and 2 new record species in Guizhou province.13 species were dissected and described in detail,20 characteristic illustrations were drawn,35 habitat pictures,some with complete wax plate and without wax plate were taken.5 nymphs,1 prepupal male and 1 male adult were described for the first time and their characteristic illustrations were drawn.At the same time,it is proposed for the first time that the wax plate covering body can be used as the characteristic of Ortheziidae,the keys of each family,genus and species were provided,11 species were described,and the structure features were drawn and the color pictures for habitus were obtained.The type specimens and examined specimens were deposited in the Institute of Entomology,Guizhou University,Guiyang,China(GUGC).New species: Nippnonrthezia guizhouensis Zheng & Xing,2020;Newsteadia fanjingensis sp.nov.;Newsteadia multipori sp.nov.;Drosicha guizhouensis sp.nov.;Drosicha wui sp.nov.and Sishania microstegia sp.nov..New record family in Guizhou: Ortheziidae Morrison,1925;Kuwaniidae Koteja,1974.New records genus in Guizhou: Orthezia Bosc d'Antic,1784;Nipponorthezia Kuwana,1916;Newsteadia Green,1902;Sishania Ferris,1950;Neogreenia Mac Gillivray 1921.New record species in Guizhou: Orthezia yashushii Kuwana,1923;Neogreenia osmanthus(Yang & Hu,1994).2.Faunal analysisThis thesis systematically and comprehensively analyzed 4 families,8 genera and 12 species of the Orthezioidea in geographic regions of Guizhou province.The results are as follows:At family level: 4 families constitute 3 types of distribution in geographic regions in Guizhou province.Among them,2 families are distributed in VIB1(Central Guizhou Plain and Hill Province),which making up 50.00 %;VA1(Western Guizhou Plateau and Medium Mountain Province)—VIB4(Northern Guizhou Medium Mountain and Canyon Province)—VIB1—VIB2(Eastern Guizhou Lower Mountain and Hill Province)and VA1—VIB4—VIB1—VIB2—VIB3(Southern Guizhou Lower Mountain and River Valley Province)each type counts 1 family,which making up25.00 % respectively.If all the families which include the region family are calculated,4 families in total will belong to VIB1,making up 100.00 %;and 2 families in total will belong to VIB4,VIB2 and VIB3,making up 50.00 %;only one family belong to VA1,making up 25.00 %.Therefore,it is obvious that VIB1 families compose the majority of the Orthezioidea at family level in Guizhou,VIB4,VIB2 and VIB3 are secondary.At generic level: 8 genera constitute 6 types of distribution in geographic regions in Guizhou province.Among them,3 genera are distributed in VIB1,which making up 37.50 %;VIB2,VA1,VIB4—VIB1—VIB2,VA1—VIB4—VIB1 and VA1—VIB4—VIB1—VIB2—VIB3 each type counts 1 genus,which making up12.50 % respectively.If all the genera which include the region genus are calculated,6 genera in total will belong to VIB1,making up 75.00 %;and 3 genera in total will belong to VIB2,VA1 and VIB4,making up 37.50 %;only 1 genera distributed in VIB3,making up 12.50 %.Therefore,it is obvious that VIB1 genera compose the majority of the the Orthezioidea at generic level in Guizhou,VIB2,VA1 and VIB4 are secondary.At specific level: 12 known species of the Orthezioidea in Guizhou province constitute 8 types of distribution in geographic regions in Guizhou province.Among them,3 species are distributed in VIB1 and VIB2,which in the most total number of species occupying 25.00 %,VA1,VIB3,VIB1—VIB2,VIB4—VIB1—VIB2,VA1—VIB4—VIB1 and VA1—VIB4 —VIB1—VIB2—VIB3 each type counts 1species,which making up 8.33 % respectively.If all the species which include the region species are calculated,7 species in total will belong to VIB1,making up58.33 %,6 species in total will belong to VIB2,making up 50.00 %,3 species in total will belong to VA1 and VIB4,which make up 25.00 %,and 2 species in total will belong to VIB3,which make up 16.66 %.Therefore,it is obvious that VIB1 species compose the majority of the Orthezioidea at specific level in Guizhou province,VIB2 is secondary. |
