Tire is widely used in various fields of economic life.Tire mold is the vulcanization forming equipment of tire vulcanization production line.The quality and precision of the mold play a very important role in the appearance,quality,service life,safety and comfort of the tire.In this paper,the base of the tire mold is taken as the research object.The mechanical properties,fatigue life,topology optimization,heat transfer analysis,wear analysis of the base under the actual working conditions and the quick connecting device between the base and the hot plate under the vulcanizer are mainly studied.It has certain guidance for the production and operation.It is mainly introduced from the following aspects:(1)Mechanical analysis: according to the assembly relationship between each part of the tire mold and the form of the force exerted by the vulcanizer on the tire mold,the actual force form of the base in the process of tire vulcanization is analyzed on the basis of the built mechanical model,and the stress of different parts of the base is calculated.(2)Fatigue life analysis: the three-dimensional model of the substructure is statically analyzed by the simulation software ABAQUS,and the simulation results of stress and displacement of the substructure are obtained.The simulation results are imported into the fatigue life simulation software Fe safe.Based on the linear fatigue cumulative damage theory,a series of parameters of materials are set for simulation analysis,and the fatigue life of the substructure under the actual working conditions is obtained Number of times.(3)Topology optimization analysis: it mainly optimizes the structure of the tire mold base,establishes the objective function,extracts the optimization variables,establishes the optimization model,and obtains the optimization results.Based on the analysis results,the stress,displacement,fatigue life and heat transfer effect ofthe substructure are compared and analyzed,and the advantages and disadvantages of the optimization are summarized to provide some guidance for the structural design of the substructure.(4)Heat transfer analysis: the whole model of tire mold is drawn by three software UG.In order to reduce the time of heat transfer simulation,only one eighth of the mold is assembled for thermodynamic analysis.According to the actual working condition of the mold,the initial and boundary conditions are set,and the location and temperature rise data of the mold and the distribution cloud chart of the whole body are obtained,so as to comprehensively evaluate the heat transfer effect of the mold.(5)Structural design of hydraulic cylinder: the connection between the base connected by traditional bolts and the lower hot plate of vulcanizer is changed to the hydraulic cylinder,so that it can realize the function of pushing,rotating and pressing,saving time and labor,and the connection effect is good.The design of the actual structure size of the hydraulic cylinder needs to be obtained by calculating the demoulding force and bolt pre tightening force,so that the designed hydraulic cylinder can more easily complete the connection between the base and the lower hot plate,the connection effect is better,the operation time can be saved,and the occurrence of misoperation can be reduced.
