Comparative Research On Jiangsu Marine Industry Based On Niche Fitness

The 21 st century is the century of the ocean.The marine industry is highly driven and can promote the overall economic and social development of coastal areas.Building a strong marine province is the strategic goal of Jiangsu.To build a modern marine industrial system,to achieve stable growth of the marine economy and continuous improvement of the contribution rate to the national economy of Jiangsu,and to accelerate the pace of building a strong marine economic province in Jiangsu,it is necessary to clarify the key areas and differences of Jiangsu marine industry,and enhance the core competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities of the marine industry.This paper analyzes the factors that influence the development of the marine industry from the perspectives of resource endowment base,scientific and technological intelligence base,marine economic base,core industrial base,and ecological environment,based on relevant literature research and combining with the development status of Jiangsu marine industry.This paper introduces the niche fitness into the marine industry research,gives the connotation of the marine industry niche fitness,constructs the evaluation index system of the marine industry niche fitness,determines the measurement formula of the marine industry niche fitness,and uses entropy weight method to determine index weight.At the same time,the model of the marine industry niche industry is constructed,the development degree of marine industry is innovatively proposed,and more intuitively gives the degree of utilization of existing marine basic resources by the development of marine industries in coastal provinces and cities.By comparatively studying the comparative advantages and disadvantages of the marine industry development between Jiangsu and other coastal provinces and cities,corresponding countermeasures are proposed for accelerating the development of marine industry in Jiangsu.Through research,the main conclusions drawn in this paper are as follows: ?1 the comprehensive value of marine industry niche fitness in Jiangsu is 0.5268,which is ranked fourth in China;the development degree of marine industry in Jiangsu is 0.7097,which is located sixth in China.Compared with the marine industry development and marine industry niche fitness in Jiangsu,or compared with the marine industry development and developed provinces and cities,Jiangsu still has great development potential.?2 Compared the five specific indicators niche fitness of resource endowment base,scientific and technological intelligence base,marine economic base,core industrial base and ecologicalenvironment base,between Jiangsu and other coastal provinces and cities,there are also certain gaps and areas that need to be improved.?3 Marine natural resources are one of the important factors that affect the regional marine industry development,not the decisive factors.?4 Jiangsu investment in marine scientific research is more general,but the output of marine scientific research results is better.The marine industry development is also affected by many other factors.?5 The marine industry development in Jiangsu should be more involved in the development of high-value-added marine industries,which helps to improve the economic benefits of marine production activities and quickly enhance the core competitiveness of Jiangsu's marine industry.?6 Strengthening the construction of marine economy,expanding the scale of marine economy,reduce the cost of marine production activities,it is used to enhance the competitiveness of marine industry products.?7 The marine ecological environment is the main factor affecting the sustainable development of the regional marine economy.Jiangsu should pay attention to the maintenance and governance of the ecological environment in order to enhance the sustainable development capability of Jiangsu's marine industry.
